A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
~SOUTN SAN FRANCISCO ACCEPTING AND ADOPTING PLANS
AND SPECIFICATIONS AS PREPARED BY THE WORKS EN-
GINEER FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A RELIEF SERVER ON
ARMOUR AVENUE BETWEEN AIRPORT BOULEVARD AND LINDEN
AVENUE IN SAID CITY, AND ESTABLISHING A WAGE S. CALE
FOR ALL SUCH WORK.
WHEREAS the Works Engineer of the City of South San Francisco has filed
with the city clerk of said city plans and specifications for the construction
of a relief~ sewer ~n Armour Avenue Between Airport BouleVard and Linden Avenue
in said city; and
WHEREAS the Works Engineer of said city has ascertained the general pre-
vailing rate of p~er diem wages in the locality in which the aformentioned oublic
work is proposed to be performed, and which wage scale is set forth in the plans
and specifications for such work; and
WHEREAS this city council has duly cOnsidered said plans and specifications
and said wage scale'and finds the same to be correct in all particulars,
NOW, THER~EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by' the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that said city council doe~ hereby accept and adopt the plans and speci-
fications as fications as prepared bY the works engineer for the hereinbefore des-
cribed work, which plans and specifications are on file with the city clerk of
said city.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said city council does hereby find, determine,
and ~rder that said wage scale above' mentioned is hereby adooted as the prevail-
ing rate of per diem wages for the pe~rformance of work~"of a Similar character to
that above described in the locality 'in which such public work is proposed to be
performed, and that not less than said general prevailing rate of per diem wages
shall be oaid for the performance of any of the oublic work herein mentioned.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced
and adooted b~.~ the City. Council of theCity of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting, this 19th day of October, 1953, b~ the following vote:
Ayes, Councilmen John Noonan, Adolph Sani, Emilio Cortesi, Joseph Bracco,
Telford Smith.
Noes, Councilmen None.
