A f~ESOLUTION OF Tile CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO ORDERING THE VACATION
OF A PUJ3LIC SANITARY AND STORM SEWER EASEMENT
LYING ~'fITHIN SAID CITY.
WHEREAS the City Co~ncil of the City of South San Francisco did, on the
19th day of October, 195], adomt a resolution declaring its intention to order
the vacation of a certain ~ublic easement forsanitary and storm sewer ~urposes,
lying within the City of South San Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of
California, and described as follows:
A strip of land 20 feet wide, measured ten
feet at right angles on either side of the
following described centerline. Beginning
at a point on the southerly line of Swift
Avenue, said point being distant North 89°
52' 30" East 93.39 feet from the intersection
of the said southerly line of Swift Avenue and
the easterly line of the Southern Pacific Company's
right of way; running thence from said ~oint of be-
gin~ing South 16° 13' 26" East 9~.90 feet to
a ~oint in the northerly line of the right of way
of the South San Francisco Belt Railways.
AND, WHEREAS said resolution of intention was published and notice of
the passage of said resolution of intention was posted in the manner and
form required by law, reference being hereby made to the affidavit of Hazel
Taverner and the affidavit of Dave Corsiglia, which affidavits are now on
fil~ in the office of the city clerk of said city;
AN~, [.fHEREAS a ~ublic ~earing was held at an adjourned meeting in the City
Hall of said City on the 5th day of November, 1953, at the hour of 2:00 o'clock
p.m.; an~ whereas all protests made against the v':~cating of said public sanitary
and storm sewer easement have been overruled; 'and
WHEREAS said City Council h~'~s deter~ined, and does hereby determine that said
m~blic easement is unnecessary for present or mros~ective ~ublic purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, said City Council hereby orders that said public easement b~,
and the same hereby is, vacated and abandoned.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City ~f South San Francisco, this 5th
da? of Nove~nber, 1953, by the following vote:
Ayes, Councilmen John Noonan, Adolnh Sani, Emilio Cortesi, Joseph Bracco,
Telford Smith.
Noes, Councilmen None.
Absent, C~uncilmen Ngne.
