ESTABLISHING PREVAILING WAGE SCALE
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, Califernia,
WHEREAS C. E. RANDLETT, the engineer appointed by said city council
for the project of improving Victory Avenue between Linden Avenue and Maple
Avenue, has ascertained the general prevailing rate of per diem wages in the
locality in which public work is proposed to be performed for work of a similar
character to that described in Resolution of Intention No. 1966 adopted on the
llth day of January, 195~; and .
WHEREAS this city council has duly considered said scale and finds the
same to be correct in all particulars;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY FOUND, DETERMINED, AND ORDERED as follows:
1. That said wage scale as set forth in the specifications is hereby
adopted as the prevailing rate of per diem wages for work of a similar character
to that above described in the locality in which such public work is proposed
to be performed.
2. That not less than said general prevailing rate of per diem wages
shall be paid for any work proposed to be performed under said resolution of
intention.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a special
meeting thereof held on the llth day of January, 195&, by the following vote:
AyeS, Councilmen Adolph Sani, Emilio Cortesi, Joseph Bracce.
Noes, Councilmen John Noonan, Telford Smith.
Absent, Councilmen None.
