RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
that said city hereby accepts that certain 'de~d, dated June 29, 19~9,
wherein SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO LAND AND IMPROVEMENT OOMPANY, a corporation,
conveys to said city a right of way for the construction and maintenance
of a public street or highway over and unon all that certain traCt or
parcel of land situate in the City of South San Francisco, County of
San Marco, State of California, and described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the westerly line of
Linden Avenue, which point is the most southerly
corner of that certain 0.90~ acre tract of land
conveyed by J. A. Johamsen and Hazel Johansen,
his wife, to Earl R. Morse and Hazel G. Morse, his
wife, by deed dated December 3, 19~5, and recorded
January 2, 19~6, Recorder's File Number 802~5 F,
records of San MarCo County, California; thence
North 75° 27' West 853 feet; thence South 15° 33'
West 60 feet'; thence South 75° 27' East 853 feet.
to an intersection with the westerly line of
Linden Avenue; thence North 15° 33' East along the
westerly line of ~inden Avenue 60 feet to the point
of beginning, subject to a Railroad Right of Way
conveyed by the South San Francisco Land and Improve-
ment Company, a corporation, to the Southern Pacific
Railroad Company, a corporation, by deed dated
July 9, 1927, and recorded July 18, 1927, in Volume
292 Official Records, San Mateo County at page ~9
thereof, Recorder's file Number 89339 "A", also two
easemente for drill tracks each 15 feet wide lying
contiguous and parallel with the easterly and west-
erly lines of the above 18 foot right of way; said
easements were conveyed July 9, 1927, and recorded
July 18, 1927, in Volume 311 Official Records,
San Mateo County at p~ge ~+8 thereof.
The city clerk is hereby directed to cause said deed,
together with a certified copy of this resolution, to be recorded
in the office of the County Recorde~ o~ the County of San Marco,
California.
I hereby certiJfy that the foregoing-resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City ef South
San Francisco this 1st day March, 195&, by t~ following vote:
Ayes, Councilmen Adolph Sani, Joseph Bracco, Emilio Cortesi.
Noes, Councilmen John Noonan, Telford Smith.
Absent, Councilmen None.
