A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO'DETERMINING THE NECESSITY
OF THE CONSTRUCTION~OF AN INDUSTRIAL SANITARY
SEWERAGE SYSTEM AND' INDUSTRILA SEWAGE PUMPING
STATIONS IN THE INDUSTRIAL AREA OF SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO BOUNDED ON THE WEST AND SOUTHWEST BY
BAYSHORE FREEWAY, ON THE NORTH AND EAST BY THE
SAN FRANCISCO BAY AND~ON'THE'SOUTH BY A LINE
APPROXIMATELY EIGHT HUNDRED (800)'FEET SOUTH OF
COLMA CREEK AND RUNNING, GENERALLY SPEAKING,
PARALLEL THERETO AND EXTENDING FROM BAYSHORE
FRESSAY TO THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY.
WHEREAS H. D. Chope, the Director of Public Health and Welfare of the County
of San Mateo, who performs the duties of Health Officer of said County and the City
of South San Francisco, has recommended, in writing, the construction of an indust-
rial sanitary sewerage system and industrial sewage Dumping stations in the indust-
rial area of South San Francisco lying, generally speaking, east of Bayshore Freeway
and extending to the San Francisco Bay on'the north and east,.and to a line running
enerally parallel to Colma Creek and being south thereof approximately eight hundred
800) feet,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of said City of South San
Francisco that said City Council does hereby find and determine that the construction
of such industrial sanitary sewerage system and industrial sewage pumping~stations
in the industrial area above referred to is necessary as a health measure.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisc® at a regularly adjourned
meeting this 10th day of March, 195&, by the following vote:
Ayes, Councilmen John Noonan, Adolph Sani, Emilio Cortesi, Joseph Bracco, Telford Smith
