RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO ESTABLISHING THE PRE-
VAILING WAGE SCALE FOR THE PUBLIC IMPROVE-
~{ENT PROCEEDING IN CONNECTION WIT. H THE IN-
STALLATION OF INDUSTRIAL SEWERAGE IN THE IN-
DUSTRIAL AREA LYING EAST OF BAYSHORE FREEWAY
IN SAID CITY
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, California that
WHEREAS the City Council of said City has ascertained the general prevailing rate
of oer diem wa~es in the locality in which oublic work is proposed to be performed for
work of a similar character to that described in Resolution of Intention No. 1987 adopted
March 15, 195g.
WHEREAS said rate of oerdiem wa~es is set forth and contained in the specifications
for said project, cooies of which are on file in the office of the City Clerk of said
City, and
WHEREAS this Council has duly considered said scale and find the same to be correct
in all particulars,
NOW, Tt{EREFORE, IT IS HEREBY FOUND, DETERMINED, AND ORDERED as follows:
1. That said wage scale as set forth in said soecifications is hereby established
and adopted as the prevailing rate of per diem wages for work of a similar character to
that above described in the ].ocality in which such public work is proposed to be performed.
2. That not less than said prevailin~ rate of Der diem wages shall be paid for any
wOrk prooosed to be performed under said Resolution of Intention.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted
by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a meeting held this 15th day of
March, 195g, by the following vote:
Ayes, Councilmen John Noonan, Adolph Sani, Emilio Cortesi, Joseph Bracco, Telford Smith
Noes, Councilmen None
