A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH SAN FI~ANCISCO OVERRULING
PROTESTS ON RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO.
1987 AND ORDERING PERFOR},~ANCE OF WORK
OF IMPROVEMENT.
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, California
that
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of South San Francisco did on the 15th
day-of March 195~ adopt its Resolution of Intention No. 1987 to construct an industrial
sewage collection system in an(i for said City, including all necessary sewer lines and
~umning stations; and
WHEREAS on said 15th day of March 195~ said City Council did adopt its resolution
a~ointing the ti. me and place of hearing prot~.~t~; in relation to the pronosed improvements
and directing the ~]iving of notice; and
WHEREAS notice of the time and place therein stated was given in the manner pro-
vided by law, as a~pears from the affidavits on file in the office of the city clerk; and
~,~HEREAS said matter came on regularly for hearing at the hour of 3:00 o'clock P.M.
on this 15th day of April 195~, being the time therein fixed; and
WHEREAS all written protests and other written communications were publicly read
at said meeting e. nd all persons desirin.K to be heard were fully heard, and whereas said
protest hearing was not concluded but was, on the contrary, continued until the hour of
8:00 o'clock P.M. on the 3rd day of May, 195~ and w~s at that time again continued-until
the hour of 3:00 o'clock P.M. on the 10th day of M~ay, 195~, at which time the hearing
was further continued until the hour of 8:00 o'Clock B.M on the l?th day of May, 1951,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby determine and
declare that all the protests entered against said improvements, considered together,
were not signed by the owners of a majority or more of the area of the lands within the
assessment district, or of the area of the lands within the assessment district to be
assessed for the costs and expenses of saidwork.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said protests be, and ~ach of them is, hereby over-
ruled, and that the work of oublic improvement described in said Resolution of Intention
No. 1987 be, and the same hereby is, ordered to be performed.

ooted at a regular r~eeting of the City Council of the City of South San Francisco held
on the 17th day of }&~y, 195J~, by the following vote: to wit:
