A RESOLUTION OF T~ CITY COU~'.i'CIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN
FRANCI~CO ORDERING THE WOR}~ FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE
EREJ~WAY STREET AND
INDUSTRIAL AREA IN THE VICINITY OF ~ '
SOUTH AIRP£'RT BOULEVARD AND THE INSTALLATION OF AN
INDUSTRIAL SANITARY SEWERAGE SYSTEM AND AN INDUSTRIAL
SEWAGE ~:UMPING STATION, AND DIRECTING THE WORK TO BE DONE
UNDER THE DIRECTION OF C. E. RANDLETT, AS ENGINEER,
%~ER=AS the City Council of the City of South San ~rancmsco
did on the 30th day. of August, 195~, adopt its Resolution of
Intention No. 205~ to order the therein described work and im-
provement to be done and made in said city, which Resolution
of Intention ~as regularly published in the time, form, and
manner as required by law, as shown by the affidavit of pub-
licetion of s~id ReSolution of Intention on file in the office
of the City Clerk of said city; and
W}~REAS, after the adoption thereof, notices if the passage
of said Resolution of Intention, hea~ed "Notice of Improvement",
were regularly posted in the time, form, manner, locations, and
~number as~'r~equired by law, as appears from the affidavit of
posting Said notices now on file in the office of said City
Clerk; and
W~REAS, after the adoption thereof, notices cg.~ the adoption
ef said Resolution of Intention were duly mailed to all persons
owning real property proposed to be as~e~sed ih the time, form, and
sanner and to the ~ersons, as required by law; and
~JHEREAS said City Council having duly received and considered
evidence oral and documentsry concerning the jurisdictional facts ~n
this proceeding and concerning the necessity for the contemplated work
and improvement and the benefits to be derived therefrom, and it
appearing that no protests or objections have been filed in this matter,
and said Oity C&uncil having now acquired jurisdiction to order the
proPosed improvement,
IT IS t~EREBY RESOLVED by said City Council that the public
interest and convenience require the improvement herein referred to,
and ssid City Council hereby orders that. the work and improvement as
set forth and described in said Resolution of intention, and in the
plans and specific~-,tions therein referred to, be done and made. All
said work shall be performed under the direction of C~E. RANDLETT,
as engineer, and all materials used in connection therewith shall
comply w~th the specifications and be to the satisfaction of the said
engineer and of LONIS GOSS, Director of Public Works, of said City of
South San F~ancisco.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the boundaries of the assess-
ment district, and the grades to which said work and improvements are
to be consDructed, shall be those set forth and described in said
Resolution of Intention, and in the plans and specifications therein
referred to, reference to which is hereby made f~r all further par-
titulars.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution
was regularty adopted by the City Council of the City
of South San Francisco at an adjourned meeting there-
of held on the 21st day of September,1954, by the follow-
ing vote:
