A RESOLUTION OF T~E CITY COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO AUTNO~ING E. G. COOPMAN, FREDERICK F. SCRIBNER
AND CHABT~.w~ H. BERGER TO DREDGE COLMA CREEK CANAL AND R~4OVE
DIRT T~'ROM, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN TEP~S AND CONDITIONS.
~ E. G. C0<PMAN, FREDERICK F. SCRIBNER, AND CHAI~_.~ ]~. BERGER have, under date of Janu_ary 31,
1955, submitted a written offer to the City of South San Francisco with respect to the dredging and removal
of dirt from Colma Creek Canal; and
~ the City Council of the City of South San Francisco are fully informed of the terms of
such offer and have given full consideration thereto,
NOW, ~RE, BE IT RESOLVED by said City Council that the aforementioned E. G. COOPMAN, FREDERICK
F. SCRIBNER, AND CHARLES H. BEGGER be given permission to dredge Colma Creek Canal and remove the dirt
therefrom in accordance with the terms of their offer and s~bJect to the conditons and l~m~tations as rec~nded
by the Director of Public Works in a memorandum to the City MAnager under date of February 1, 1955, and also
subject to such legal conditions as the City Attorney shall set forth in a written contract to be entered
into between the aforementioned persons and the City of South San Francisco with respect to the performance of
such work.
BE IT ~U~A~.:H RESOLVED that the City Attorney prepare a contract, as hereinabove provided for,
and that the Mayor of said City be, and he hereby is, authorized to execute said contract on behalf of
said City. The City Clerk is instructed to attest to said contract and to affix thereto the corporate seal
of said City.
