A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE A
CERTAIN PUBLIC EASEMENT LYING WITHIN SAID CITY.
Good and sufficient cause appearing,
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco,
a municipal corporation in the County of San Mateo, State of California, as follows:
SECTION 1. It is the intention of said City Council to order the vacation
and abandonment of a certain public easement lying within Crestview Terrace, which is
.in the City of South San Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of California, and
described as follows:
That certain Easement lying adjacent to
and 4-feet on each side of the dividing
line between Lots 20 and 21 as shown on
that certain Map entitled "PECK'8 HEIGHTS,
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CALIF.", filed in the
office of the County Recorder of San Mateo
County February 27, 1953 in Volume 36 of
Maps at page 27.
SECTION'2. Said City Council hereby fixes Monday, the 6th day of June, 1955,
at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M., in the City Hall of said City of South San Francisco,
County of San Mateo, State of California, as the time and place for hearing all persons
interested in, or objecting to, the vacation of said public easement.
SECTION 3. Notices of the passage of this resolution of intention, giving the
time and place of hearing thereon, shall be conspicuously posted along the lines of said
public easement for at least ten (10) days prior to said hearing, and not more than
three hundred (300) feet in distance apart, and not less than three (3) in a11.
SECTION 4. The action hereby taken by said City Council is in pursuance to
that certain act of the Legislature of the State of California known as the "Street
Vacation Act of 1941", the same being Division 9, Part 3, of the Streets and Highways
Code of the State of California
SECTION 5. This Resolution of Intention shall be published by one (1)
insertion in the South San Francisco Enterprise-Journal, a newspaper of general
circulation published and circulated in the City of South San Francisco.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting
held this 16th day of May, 1955, by the following vote:
