A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO ORDERING THE VACATION OF A CERTAIN
PUBLIC EASEMENT LYING WITHIN SAID CITY.
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of South San Francisco did, on the 16th day of
May, 1955, adopt a resolution declaring its intention to order the vacation of a certain public
easement lying within the City of South San Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of California,
and described as follows:
That certain Easement lying adjacent to and 4-feet on each side of the dividing line
between Lots 20 and 21 as shown on that certain Map entitled "PECK'S HEIGHTS, SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO,
CALIFORNIA.", filed in the office of the County Recorder of San Mateo County February 27, 1953
in Volume 36 of Maps at page 27;
and
WHEREAS said Resolution of Intention was published and notice of the passage of said
Resolution of Intention was posted in the manner and form required by law, reference being
hereby made to the affidavit of DAVE CORSIGLIA, which affidavit is now on file in the office of
the City Clerk of said City; and
WHEREAS a public hearing was held at a regular meeting in the City Hall of said City on
the 6th day of June, 1955, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M.; and
WHEREAS all protests made against the vacating of said public easement have been
overruled; and
WHEREAS said City Council has determined, and does hereby determine that said public
easement is unnecessary for present or prospective public purposes,
NOW, THEREFORE, said City Council hereby orders that said public easement be, and the
same hereby is, vacated and abandQned.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by
the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held this 6th day of
June, 1955, by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN Andrew Rocca, Francis Lucchio, Telford Smith, Emilio Cortesi, Richard Gamlen
