A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE A
CERTAIN PUBLIC UTILITIES EASEMENT LYING WITHIN SAID CITY.
Good and sufficient cause appearing,
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE City Council of the City of South San Francisco, a
municipal corporation in the County of San Mateo, State of California, as follows:
Section 1. It i's the intention of said City Council to order the vacation and
abandonment of,a certain public utilities easement lying within Westview Terrace No. 2, which
is situate in the City of South San Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of California, and
described as follows:
Those portions of the public utility easement running along the North-
westerly line of Lots 6 to 20 inclusive, in Block I of the Map of "WESTVIEW
TERRACE NO. 2", which subdivision lies within the City of South San Francisco,
County of San Mateo, State of California, and which map is filed in the office
of the Recorder of San Mateo County, State of California on May 26, 1954 in
Liber 39 of Maps at page 2, more particularly described as follows:
PARCEL TWO:
Beginning at a point on the Southwesterly line of Lot 20 in Block i as
shown on the map of "WESTVIEW TERRACE NO. 2" above mentioned distant theron
South 59° 09' 53" East 10.00 feet from the most Westerly corner of said Lot
thence North 29° 31' 04" East parallel with the Northwesterly line of said
Block 1, a distance of 462.41 feet more or less to the Northeasterly line of

said. LOt 12'a distance.of 5.00 feet, thence Southwesterly in a direct line to the. point ofbegi
Excepting therefrom so much thereof as lies within the limits of that
certain public utility easement 6 feet in width lying 3 feet on either side
of the line dividing Lots 17 and 18 in said Block.
ALSO EXCEPTING therefrom so much thereof as lies within the limits of
that certain public utility easement 3 feet in width lying along the South-
westerly boundary line of Lot 20 in said Block.
PARCEL THREE:
Beginning at a point on the Northeasterly line of Lot 6 in Block 1,
as shown on the ~ap of "WESTVIEW TERRACE NO. 2" above mentioned, distant
thereOn South 55 03' 31" East 12.00 feet from the most Northerly corner of
said Lot, ~hence South 55 o 03' 31" East along the Northeasterly line of Lot
6 a distance of 9.24 feet, thence Southwesterly in a direct line 308.19
feet more or less to a point in the ~p~thwesterly line of Lot 11 in said
Block, which point is distant South 5~ 57' East 15.00 feet from the most
Westerly corner of said Lot 11, thence North 5~ 57' West 3.00 feet, thence
Nort~easterly in a direct line to the point~beginning.
Section 2. Said City Council hereby fixes Tuesday, the 5th day of July, 1955, at the hour
of 8:00 P.M., in the City Hall of the City of South San Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of
California, as the time and Place for hearing all persons interested in, or objecting to, the
vacation of said public utilities easement.'
Section 3. Notices of the passage of this resolution of intention, giving the time and
place of hearing theron, shall be conspicuously posted along the lines of said public utilities
easement for at least ten (10) days prior to said hearing, and not more than three hundred (300)
feet in distance apart, and not less than three (3) in all.
Section 4. The action hereby taken by said City Council is in pursuance to that certain
act of the Legislature of the State of California known as the "Street Vacation Act of 1941", the
same being Division 9, Part 3, of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California.
Section 5. This Resolution of Intention shall be published by one (1) insertion in
the South San Francisco Enterprise-Journal, a newspaper of general circulat~on published and
circulated in the City of South San Francisco.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by
the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held this 6th day of
June, 1955, by the following vote:
