A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF. DEEDS OF INDENTURE BETWEEN
RUSSELL STROUD AND LOIS STROUD AND SAID CITY AND BETWEEN JOHN
AINSLIE AND VIOLA AINSLIE AND SAID CITY, WITH RESPECT TO THE
GRANTING OF CERTAIN SANITARY SEWERAGE EASEMENTS TO SAID CITY.
WHEREAS the City of South San Francisco is desirous of obtaining from RUSSELL STROUD and
LOIS STROUD, husband and wife, and from JOHN AINSLIE and VIOLA AINSLIE, husband and wife, certain
sanitary sewerage easements, which will be beneficial to said city; and
WHEREAS said RUSSELL STROUD and LOIS STROUD and said JOHN AINSLIE and VIOLA AINSLIE are
willing to grant said deeds of easement, provided that said City agrees to install, at City's
expense and as expeditiously as possible, the sewerage below the present level of the surface of the
properties to be affected by said easements, with any damage or distrubance to said surface being
restored by said City, also at its expense and as expeditiously as possible,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of said City that said City accept from
said RUSSELL STROUD and LOIS STROUD, husband and wife, and from JOHN AINSLIE and VIOLA AINSLIE, husban
and wife, said offers to grant to said City sanitary sewer easements upon the conditions specified
in the premises hereto. In this connection, said City shall enter into Deeds of Indenture with each
of said parties, the Mayor or said City being hereby authorized to execute the same on behalf of said
City and the City Clerk being directed to attest to the same and to affix thereto the corporate seal
of said City. The Deed of Indenture to be entered into between said JOHN AINSLIE and VIOLA AINSLIE
shall bear the date of June 6, 1955 and shall convey to the City of South San Francisco the following
easement:
An easement for the purpose of constructing, operating, and maintaining a sewerage
system in, across, and through that certain real property situate in the City of South San Francisco,
County of San Mateo, State of California, and particularly described as follows, to-wit:
The Southerly 2-~ feet of the Westerly 75 feet of Lot 32, Block 11,
Winston Manor, as shown on map recorded in Volume 32, pages 28 and 29,
in the Official Records of San Mateo County.
The Deed of Indenture to be entered into between said RUSSELL STROUD and LOIS STROUD shall bear the
date of June 10, 1955 and shall convey to the City of South San Francisco the following easement:
An easement for the purpose of constructing, operating, and maintaining a sewerage
system in, across, and through that certain real property situate in the City of South San Francisco,
County of San Mateo, State of California, and particularly described as follows, to-wit:
The Northerly 5 feet of the Westerly 75 feet of Lot 31, Block 11, Winston
Manor, as Shown on map recorded in Volume 32, pages 28 and 29 in the
official records of San Mateo County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that upon receipt of said Deeds of Indenture, properly executed
and acknowledged, the City Clerk shall forward the same to the Recorder of the County of San Mateo
for recordation, together with certified copies of this resolution.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted at a
regular meeting of the City Council of the City of South San Francisco held on the 20th day of
June, 1955, by the following vote:
