A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO ORDERING THE VACATION OF A CERTAIN PUBLIC
UTILITIES EASEMENT LYING WITHIN SAID CITY.
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of South San Francisco did, on the 6th day of June,
1955, adopt a resolution~declaring its intention to order the vacation of a certain public utilities
easement lying within the City of South San Francisco, Cpunty of San Marco, State of California, and
described as follows:
Those portion of the public utility easement running along the Northwesterly
line of Lots 6 to 20 inclusive, in Block 1 of the Map of "WESTVIEW TERRACE NO. 2",
which subdivision lies within the City of South San Francisco, County of San Mateo,
State of California, and which map is filed in the office of the Recorder of San Marco
County, State of California on May 26, 1954 in Liber 39 of Maps at page 2, more particularly
described as follows:
PARCEL TWO:
Beginning at a point on the Southwesterly line of Lot 20 in Block 1 as shown
on the map of "WESTVIEW TERRACE NO. 2" above mentioned distant thereon South 59° 09'
East 10.00 feet from the most Westerly corner of said Lot thence North 29° 31' 04"
East parallel with the Northwesterly line of said Block 1, a distance of 4S2.41 feet
more or less to the Northeasterly line of Lot 12 in said block, thence South 58° 57'
East along the Northeasterly line of said Lot 12 a distance of 5.00 feet, thence
Southwesterly in a direct line to the point of beginning.
Excepting therefrom so much thereof as lies within the limits of that certain
public utility easement 6 feet in width lying 3 feet on either side of the line
dividing~L6ts 17 and 18 in said Block.
ALSO EXCEPTING therefrom so much thereof as lies within the limits of that
certain public utility easement 3 feet in width lying along the Southwesterly
boundary line of Lot 20 in said Block.

PARCEL THREE:
Beginning at a point on the Northeasterly line of Lot 6 in Block 1, as shown on
the map of "WESTVIEW TERRACE NO. 2" above mentioned, distant thereon South 55° 03' 31"
East*along the Northeasterly line of Lot 6 a distance of 9.24 feet; thence Southwesterly
in a direct line 308.19 feet more or less to a point in the Southwesterly line of Lot 11
in said Block, which point is distant South 58 57' East 15.00 feet from the most
Westerly corner of said Lot 11, thence North 58 57' West 3.00 feet, thence Northeasterly
in a direct line to the point of beginning.
WHEREAS said Resolution of Intention was published and notice of the passage of said
Resolution of Intention was posted in the manner and form required by law, reference being hereby made
to the affidavits of Jeanette Gernandt and Dave Corsiglia, which affidavits are now on file in said
matter in the office of the City Clerk of said City; and
WHEREAS a public hearing was held at a regular meeting in the City Hall of said City on the
llth day of July, 1955, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M.; and
WHEREAS all protests made against the vacating of said public utilities easement have been
overruled; and
WHEREAS said City Council has determined, and does hereby determine that said public
utilities easement is unnecessary for present or prospective public purposes,
NOW, THEREFORE, said City Council hereby orders that said public utilities easement be, and
the same hereby is, vacated and abandoned.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by
the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at an adjourned regular meeting held this llth
day of July, 1955, by the following vote:
