A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
APPROVING PREL~M~NARI~Y~ THE ENGINEER'S REPORT FOR THE PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT
PROCEEDING CONSISTING OF THE IMPROVEMENT OF MAYFAIR AVENUE FROM MAYFAIR
VILLAGE SUBDIVISION No. 3 TO SOUTH SPRUCE AVENUE AND THE IMPROVEMENT OF
SOUTH CANAL STREET FROM SOUTH SPRUCE AVENUE TO LINDEN AVENUE.
RESOLVED by the City Cofincil of the City of South San FrancisCo, California that;
WHEREAS, on the 29th day of August, 1955, said City Council did adopt its Resolution of
Intention No. 2207 to improve Mayfair ~venue from Mayfair Village Subdivision No. 3 to South
Spruce Avenue and;South Canal Street from South Spruce Avenue to Linden Avenue, and did refer
the proposed improvements to WILSEY & HAM, being competent persons employed by said City for
this purpose, and did therein direct said WILSEY & HAM to make and file with the City Clerk
of the said City a report in writing, all as therein more particularly described, under and
pursuant to the.Municipal Improvement Ac~ of 1913, as amended.
WHEREAS said WILSEY & HAM has made and filed with the City Clerk of said City a Report
in writing as called for in said Resolution of l~ention, and under and pursuant to said Act,
which report has been presented to this Council for consideration.
WHEREAS said City Council has duly considered said report and each and every part thereof,
and finds that each and every part of said report is sufficient, and that said report, nor any
part &~e=e~,reeqaires or should be modified in any respect;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows:
1. That the plans and specifications for the proposed improvements to be made contained
in said report be, and they are hereby, preliminarily approved and confirmed.
2. That WILSEY & HAM's estimate of the itemized and total estimated costs and cexpenses
of said improvements and of the incidental expenses in connection therewith contained in said
report be, and each of them are hereby, preliminarily approved and confirmed.
3. That the-diagram showing the assessment district referred to and described in said
Resolution of I~tention, and also the boundaries and dimensions of the respective subdivisions
of land within said district as the same existed at the time of the passage of said Resolution
of Intention, each of which subdivisions having been given a separate number upon said diagram
as contained in said report be, and it is hereby, preliminarily approved and confirmed.

4. That the:proposed improvements upon the several subdivisons of land in said assessment
district in propottion to the estimated benefits to be received by such subdivisions, res-
pectivel~, from said acquisitions and improvements, and of the incidental expenses thereto
contained in said~report be, and they are hereby, preliminarily approved and confirmed;
5. That said report shall stand as the Engineer's report for the ptrpose of all subsequent
proceedings had pursuant to said Resolution of Intention.
! hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by
the City Council,of the City of South San Francisco at a meeting held this 29th day of August,
1955, by the following vote:
AYES, Councilmen~ Andrew Rocca, FranciscLucchio, Emilio Cortesi, Richard Gamlen, Telford Smith.
