RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
ESTABLISHING THE PREVAILING WAGE SCALE FOR THE PUBLIC IMPROVEI~ENT
PROCEEDING IN CONNECTION WI~ THE IMPROVEMENT OF MAYFAIR AVENUE
FROM MAYFAIR VILLAGE SUBDIVISION NO. 3 TO SOUTH SPRUCE AVENUE AND
THE IMPROVEMENT OF SOUTH CANAL STREET FROM SOUTH SPRUCE AVENUE TO
LINDEN AVENUE.
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, California that,
WHERFAS the City Council of said City has ascertained the general prevailing rate of per
diem wages in the locality in which public work is proposed to be performed for work of a
similar character to that described in Resolution of IMtention No. 2207 adopted August 29, 1955.
WHEREAS said rate of per diem wages is set forth and contained in the specifications for
said project, copies of which are on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City and,
~rHEREAS this Council has duly considered said scale and find the same to be correct in
all particulars,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY FOUNDs DETERMINED, AND ORDERED as follows:
1. That said wag~ scale as set forth in said specifications is hereby established and
adopted as the prevailing rate of per diem wages for work of a similar character to that above
described in the locality in which such public work is proposed to be performed.
2. That not less than said prevailing rate of per diem wages shall be paid for any work
proposed to be performed under said Resolution of Intention.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by
the City Council of the City of South San Francisco ~ a meeting held this 19th day of September,
1955, by the following vote:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Andrew Rocca, Emilio Cortesi, R/chard Gamlen, Telford Smith.
NOES, " None
