A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
PROVIDING FOR THE EXECUTION OF A CERTAIN AGREEMENT WITH BARRETT &
HILP DEVELOPMENT COYPANY, MAC CORPORATION, AND BAUER-LESSER, A CO--
PARTNERSHIP, WITH RESPECT TO THE ACQUISITION AND INSTALLATION OF ~
STREET CONNECTING SERRA HIGHLANDS SUBDIVISION AND STERLING MANOR
SUBDIVISION.
WHEREAS a three-way contract was heretofore, on the 25th day of August, 1954, entered into
among the City of South San Francisco, Barrett & Hilp Development Company, and Mac Corporation,
providing for the extension of the public street known as "Serra Drive" from Serra Highlands
Subdivision into Sterling Manor Subdivision so as to connect with the public street known as
"Alta Mesa Drive"; and
WHEREAS further negotiations have determined that instead of Serra Drive being extended to
meet with Alta Mesa Drive that there shall be substituted therefor the extension of King Drive
(formerly designated as "Carmelita Drive") to meet with said Alta Mesa Drive; and
WHEREAS the extension of said King Drive involves the dedication of a portion of the sub-
division known as "Buri Buri No. 3", presently owned by Bauer-Lesser, a copartnership,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that
an agreement be entered into by said City and Barrett & Hllp Developmnt Company, Mac Corporation,
and Bauer-Lesser, a copartnership, providing for the extension of King Drive instead of Serra
Drive as previously contracted for.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City Clerk of said City be, and they hereby are,
authorized and directed to execute said agreement on behalf of said City.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the
City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held this 17th day of October,
1955, by the following vote:
AYES, Councilmen Andrew Rocca, Francis Lucchio, Telford Smith, Richard Gamlen.
