A RESOLLrrION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
INSTRUCTING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS AS EX-OFFICIO SUPERINTENDENT
OF STREETS OF SAID CITY TO PREPARE AND FILE WITH THE CITY CLERK AN
AMENDED ASSESSMENT FOR THE SUBDIVISION AREA KNOWN AS "PARCEL NO. 7,
INDUSTRIAL ACRES", WITH RESPECT TO THE ASSESSMENT FOR FIRE PROTECTION
SYSTEM.
WHEREAS a portion of the original Industrial Acres Subdivision comprising a part of the Indus-
trial Acres Fire Protection System Assessment District has, subsequent to the assessment becoming
a lien upon the lands comprising the said assessment district, being re-subdivided into five (5)
subdivisions, known as "Parcels 7A, 7B, 7C, 7D, ,: .:~, Industrial Acres", rendering it necessary
to segregate and apportion the unpaid installments of the original assessment in accordance with
the benefits to the several parcels or lots of land comprising said subdivisions known as "Parcels
7A, 7B, 7C, 7D, ~' ~ ~'~, Industrial. Acres"; and
WHEREAS there is presently ow~ and unpaid upon the assessment liens against the lots or
parcels of land comprising said new subdivisions the sum of EIGHT HIrNDRED AND FIFTY-FIVE and
35/lOOth Dollars ($855.35,)
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that,
pursuant to the provisions of Section 8730 et seq. of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of
California, the Director of Public Works as ex-officio Superintendent of Streets ef said City be,
and he hereby is, instructed to make and prepare an amended assessment of the original area of
land affected by the aforementioned re-subdivision, together with a map or plat showing the re-
subdivision of said area. Further, upon the filing by the Director of Public Works of an amended
assessment, the City Clerk of said City shall fix a time and place for a hearing upon the amended
assessment and shall give notice of the hearing by publication, as provided by law.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the
City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held this 17th day of October,
1955, by the following vote:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Andrew Rocca, Francis Lucchio, Emilio Cortesi, Richard Gmalen, Telford Smith.
