A RESOLUTION.OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
ORDERING THE WORK FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF AIRPORT BOULEVARD INDUSTRIAL
TRACT, AND DIRECTING THE WORK TO BE DONE.
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of South San Francisco did, on the 19th day of September,
1955, adopt its Resolution of Intention No. 2237 to order the therein described work and improve-
ment to be done and made in said city, which Resolution of Intention was regularly published in
the time, form, and manner as required by law, as shown by the affidavit of publication of said
Resolution of Intention on file in the office of the City Clerk of said city; and
WHEREAS, after the adoption thereof, notices of the passage of said Resolution of Intention,
headed "Notice of Improvement", were regularly posted in the time, form, manner, locations, and
number as required by law, as appears from the affidavit of posting said notices now on file in
the office of said City Clerk; and
WHEREAS, after the adoption thereof, notices of the adoption of said Resolution of Intention
were duly mailed to all persons owning real property proposed to be assessed in the time, form,
and manner and to the persons, as required by law; and
WHEREAS said City Council having duly received and considered evidence oral and documentary
concerning the jurisdictional facts in this proceeding and concerning the necessity for the con-
templated work and improvement and the benefits to be derived therefrom, and all protests and
objections having been overruled, and said City Council having now acquired jurisdiction to order
the proposed improvement,
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED by said City Couocil that the public interest and convenience require
the improvement herein referred to, and said City Council hereby orders that the work and improve-
ment as set forth and described in said Resolution of Intention, and in the plans and specifications
therein referred to, be done and made. All said work shall be performed under the supervision of
the Engineers of Work, WILSEY & HAM, and to the satisfaction of LOUIS H. GOSS, Director of Public
Works of said city, and all said work shall comply with said plans and specifications.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED ~hat the boundaries of the assessment district, and the grades to which
said work and improvements are to be constructed, shall be those set forth and described in said
Resolution of Intention, and in the plans and specifications therein referred to, reference to
which is hereby made for all further particulars.
I hereby certify that the foregoing re~olution was regularly adopted by the City Council of
the City of South San Francisco at an adjourned regular meeting thereof held on the 24th day of
October, 1955, by the following vote:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Andrew Rocca, Emilio Cortesi, Richard Gamlen, Telford Smith.
NOES, " None
ABSENT, ' Francis Lucchio
