A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FHANCISCO
ADOPTING AN OFFICIAL MAP OF CRESTVIEW TERRACE.
WHEREAS a map of a portion of the City of South San Francisco known as "Pecks Heights"
was recorded in Volume 36 of Maps at Page 27 on February 27, 1953, Official Records of San Mateo
County; and
WHEREAS a map of a portion of the City of South San Francisco known as "Pecks Heights
No. 2" was recorded in Volume 37 of Maps at Page 26 on August 31, 1953, Official Records of San
Mateo County; and
WHEREAS a map of a portion of the City of South San Francisco known as "Pecks Heights
No. 3" was recorded in Volume 38 of Maps at Page 23 on February 26, 1954, Official Records of San
Mateo County; and
WHEREAS a map of a portion of the City of South San Francisco known as "Pecks Heights
No. 4" was recorded in Volume 43 of Maps at Page 37 on October 14, 1955, Official Records of San
Mateo County; and
WHEREAS all the above-mentioned maps comprise an area or subdivision which is commonly
known as "CRESTVIEW TERRACE"; and
WHEREAS it is desirable to delineate all of said area on one map; and
WHEREAS CHARLES E. RANDLETT, Civil Engineer, has submitted a map of the area, which map
includes Pecks Heights, Pecks Heights No. 2, Pecks Heights No. 3, and Pecks Heights No. 4, and
which map is designated by the name "CRESTVIEW TERRACE", and which map has been examined and approved
by LOUIS H. GOSS, Director of Public Works of saidCity and Ex-Officio City Engineer, a copy of which
map is on file with the City Clerk of said City,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
that said map so submitted by said Charles E. Randlett and approved by said Louis H. Goss be, and
the same hereby is, adopted for all purposes as the official map of that portion of the City of
South San Francisco called "CRESTVIEW TERRACE."
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk, the Tax Collector, and the Superintendent of
Streets of said City are, and dach is hereby, authorized to make reference to said map for the purpos
of assessment of the separate parcels of land assessed or to be assessed under public proceedings of
said City, using the lot and block numbers shown on each parcel as a means of identifying said parcel.
BE IT STILL FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of said City be, and he hereby is,
directed to cause said map to be recorded in the Office of the Recorder of the County of San Mateo.
I Hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by
the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held this 21st day of
November, 1955, by the following vote:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Andrew Rocca, Francis Lucchio, Richard Gamlen, Telford Smith.
NOES, " Emilio Cortesi
