A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
CORRECTING CERTAIN CLERICAL ERRORS AND OMISSIONS IN THE ASSESSMENT
ROLL AS ADOPTED BY SAID CITY COUNCIL FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1955-1956.
WHEREAS certain clerical errors and omissions have appeared with respect to the assess-
ment roll as approved and adopted by the City Council f~r the fiscal year 1955-1956; and
WHEREAS such errors and omissions should be corrected by the making of certain adjustments
to said assessment roll,
HOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of ~he City of South San Francisco
that the assessment roll as heretofore adopted by said City Council for the fiscal year 1955-1956
be corrected as follows:
1. With respect to Bill No. 154 (Marion Power Shovel Company); Through error said tax-
paper was assessed for an unsecured personal property tax in the amount of $143.35. This bill
is a duplicate charge, and Tax Bill No. 154 is to be cancelled.
2. With respect to Bill No. 374 (Lloyd Ham); to be corrected to show real estate in the
value of $10,400.00 rather than $11,950.00.
3. With respect to Bill No. 77 (Guy F. 'Atkinson Company): Through error assessed as
having personal property of the value of $491,476.00, whereas it should have been $182,459.00.
A corrected tax bill is in Order.
4. With respect to Bill No. 138 (El Rancho Drive-In Theatre): Through error assessed as
having Inventory and Fixtures of the value of $72,000.00, whereas it should be in the amount of
$7,2OO.OO.
5. With respect to Tax Bill No. 1630 (Donati): To be corrected to show real estate in
the assessed value of $2,550.00 and improvements in the amount of $7,680.00 rather than real esta-te
in the amount of $7,050.00 and improvements in the amount of $30,700.00.
6. With respect to Tax Bill No. 1629 (Barrett & Hilp): To be corrected to show real
estate in the assessed value of $7,050.00 and l~provements in the amount of $30,700.00 rather than
improvements in the amount of $7,680.00 and real estate in the sum of $2,550.00.
7. Through error, the South San Francisco Land Company was not assessed as the owner of
Parcel 8 per Assessors Map of South San Francisco No. 4, having an assessed value of $4,000.00.
Said property is to be added to the assessment roll and a tax in the amount of $62.60 is to be
assessed against said property. Bill No. 37 should be corrected to include said assessment and
tax.
8. With respect to Bill No. 5469 (Charles and Mary Bollazzi): Through error a sewer
rental in the amount of $25.50 was charged, whereas it should have been the sum of $22.50. A
corrected tax bill is in order.
The City Clerk of said City, as the ex-officio Assessor thereof, is hereby instructed to
make the above-designated corrections to the official assessment roll for the fiscal year 1955-1956.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by
the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held this 21st day of
November, 1955, by the following vote:
