AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN SAID CITY AND
GARDEN DEVELOPMENT COMPANY PROVIDING FOR THE PAYMENT OF ASSESSMENTS
LEVIED AGAINST CERTAIN PARCELS OF PROPERTY INCLUDED WITHIN TEE AREA
COMPRISING THE MISSION ROAD DRAINAGE DISTRICT.
WHEREAS GARDEN DEVELOPMENT COMPANY, a private corporation, has, as a subdivider and developer,
developed a large portion of the area known as "Sunshine Gardens" lying and situate within the City of South San
Francisco; and
WHEREAS said Development Company was, in connection with its development work, required to
provide adequate storm drainage for said area; and
WHEREAS, in connection therewith, the City of South San Francisco has undertaken special
assessment proceedings to install adequate drainage facilities for a portion of said "Sunshine Gardens", together
with certain additional area; and
WHEREAS GARDEN DEVELOPMENT COMPANY had made available to said City a sum of money adequate to
satisfy all the assessments against the homes of individuals located within the confines of said "Sunshine
Gardens Subdivision", upon the condition that said City agree, in writing, to use said moneys to satisfy such
assessments,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that said
City shall, in writing, agree to all the terms and conditions of the premises hereto. In that connection, the
Mayor of said City is hereby authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of said City, and the City Clerk of said
City is hereby instructed to attest to the same and to affix thereto the corporate seal of said City.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City
Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 19th day of December, 1955, by the
following vote:
