A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
CANCELLING CITY TAXES 0N REAL PROPERTY ACQUIRED BY THE SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO DI~IFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT.
WHEREAS the real property hereinafter described was, on the 31st day of May 1955, acquired by
the SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT, a public body, the same to be used for school purposes; and
WHEREAS municipal real property taxes for the fiscal year 1955-1956 became a lien upon said
property; and
WHEREAS such property being used for school purposes is exempt from taxation by the City of
South San Francisco,
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the
real property taxes levied for the fiscal year 1955-1956, together with any and all penalties and costs, upon the
hereinafter described real property, and all taxes to be levied in all subsequeut years, by said City, be, and the
same hereby are, cancelled. Said real property is situated in the. City of South San Francisco, County of San Mateo,
State of California, and is particularly described as follows:
PARCEL I:
Lot 21 in Block 2 as shown on that certain map entitled "Avalon Park,
South San Francisco, Calif." filed in the office of the County Recorder of
San Mateo County on july 7, 1949 in Book 30 of Maps at pages 32 to 34.
PARCEL II:
Lots 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27 and 28 in Block 2 as shown on that certain
map entitled "Avalon Park No. 3, South San Francisco, California", filed in
the office of the Couuty Recorder of San Mateo County on July 28, 1954 iu
Book 39 of ~ps at pages 46 and 47.
BE IT FURTMER RESOLVED that the aforedescribed real property be, and it hereby is, ordered
removed from the City tax rolls.
BE IT ALSO RESOLVED that the City Clerk of said City be, and he hereby is, instructed to
deliver a certified copy of this resolution to the Tax Collector of said City.
I hereby certify that the foregoingresolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the
City Council of the City of South San Francisco at an adjourned regular meeting held on the 4th day of January
1956, by the following vote:
