A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO DECLARING T~E NECESSITY OF
ACQUIRING CERTAIN PROPERTY IN TNE CITY OF SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTING A
PUBLIC THOROUGHFARE CONNECTING AVALON PARK
SUBDIVISION AND BR~NTWOOD SUBDIVISION IN SAID CITY
BE IT R~OLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
that said City Council finds and determines and hereby declares that:
Public interest and necessity require the construction of a public
thoroughfare through the lands hereinafter described.
BE IT ~THER RESOLVED that said City of South San Francisco acquire the
real property next hereinafter described for the purpose of constructing and maintaining a
uublic thoroughfare by condemnation in ~ccordance with the provisions of the Code of Civil
Procedure and the Constitution of the State of California relating to eminent domain, and
prepare and prosecute, in the name of the People of the State of California, such proceeding
or proceedings in the Superior Court of the State of California, in and for the County of
San Mateo, as are necessary for such acquisition; the land hereinbefore referred to consists
of all those certain tracts or parcels of land situate in the City of South San Francisco,
County of San Mateo/State of California, and described ss follows:
PARCEL 1
Beginning at a point of the southwesterly line of Conmur
Street said point being the southeasterly corner of Lot 1,
Block 10 as delineated on that certain map designated
"Avalon Park No. 2" which map was recorded July 7, 1949
in Volume 30 of Maps at pages 32, 33, and 34, San Mateo

County Records, thence North 58 45' Fast 25, 32 feet
thence South 31o 15' Fast 129.00 feet, thence South 5~~ 45'
West 21.64 feet, thence North 32o 53' West 129.05 feet
to the northwesterly boundary of Parcel 30 0.42 acres more
or less to the point of beginning.
PARCEL II
Beginning at a point on the northeasterly line of Conmur
Street said point being the southwesterly corner of Lot 1,
Block 2 as delineated., on that certain map designated
"Avalon Park No. 3" which map was recorded July ?, 1949 in
Volume 30 of Maps at pages 32, 33 and 34, San Mateo County
Records; thence South 32° 53' Fast 260.67 feet, thence on
an arS to the left having a radius of 20 feet and a central angle
of 88 22' a distance of 30.85 feet,:the~ce South 58045,
Best 52.10 feet~along the northwesterly bounda~ of Alta.
Vista Drive, thence North 31v 15' West 280.00 Feet, thence
N°rth'58° 45' East 24.68 feet to the point of beginning.
PARCEL !II
Beginning at a point bearing North 32° 53' West 140.62
feet from the northerly corner of Lot 1, Block 37 as
delineated on that certain map designated "Brentwood Sub-
division No. 3" which map was recorded August 15, 1947 in
Volume 27, page 43, San Mateo County Records; thence North
58o 45' Fast 21.94 feet, thence North 31° 15' West 140.00
feet to the southeasterly boundary of Alta Vista Drive,
thence South 58° 45' West 45.36 feet, thence on an arc to the
right having a radius of 20 feet end a central an~le of
88° 22' a distance of 30.85 feet, thence South 32~ 53'
East 120.O5 feet to the point of beginning.
The City Attorney is-hereby authorized and directed to prepare and file
a complaint in eminent domain for the purpose of acquiring the land hereinbefore described,
and to do all such things as nay be necessary to carry into effect the purpose of this
resolution.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting
held this 5th day of March 1956, by the following vote:
