A RF~OLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO G~ING NOTICE OF THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION
OF CERTAIN CONTIGUOUS UNINHABITE~ TERRIT,ORY TO SAID CITY
OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, SAID TERRITORY TO BE KNOW~ AS
"LAGOMARSINO PARCEL"
~EREAS the City Council of the City of SouthSan Francisco has received a written
petition from ANNIE FERRARI to annex to said City of South San Francisco the uninhabtte~ territory
situate in the C~unty of San ~teo, State of California, particularly described ss follows:
BFDINNING, for reference, at a point on the southwesterly
line of Mission Road, said point lyin~ also on the northwesterly
line of the lands described in Deed from Ethel Vaccari to'Elmer
J. Vaccari, dated September 8, 1941 and recorded September lO, 19&l in
Book 986 of Official Records at Page 17; thence South 49° 00'
West along the Northwesterly line of the above described Vaearri
t~e TRUE POINT OF BEGIN%~IIN~; thence South
parcel 75.00 feet to
49° 00' West, 3~3.50 feet to the northeasterly line of E1 Camino
Real; thence nort>~esterly along the northeasterly line of E1
Camino Real 305 feet, more or l~sz, to the dividing line of the
Patrick Brooks Ranch and the Cypress Lawn Cemetery Tract, the
said northeasterly line of E1 Camino Real also being the boundary
line of the City of South San Francisco, thence North 51° 45' East,
290 feet, more or less, to a point distant South 51° 45' West
feet from the southwesterly line of Mission Road; thence South ~3°
27' 08" East, 290.54 feet to the aforesaid TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.
%~EREAS the territory hereinbefore described is in fact uninhabited territory; and
~ERR~S said City Council has found, and does hereby find, that said ANNIE FERRARI,
is the owner of more than one-fourth (l/g) of the area of the land hereinbefore described and
represents more than one-fourth (1/4) of the assessed value of said land, accordinE to the last
equalized assessment roll of the County of San ~teo; and
%~EREAS the Boundary Coim~ission of the County of San ~teo has certified to the
definiteness and certainty of the bou/%daries of said property proposed to be arhnexed,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE rr RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that said City Council hereby designates the territory hereinbefore described as
'%agomarsino Parcel" for the purposes of identification.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
that Monday, the 7th day Of May, 1956, at the hour of eight o'clock P. ~M. in the Counci~
~nambers of the City Hall in said City of South San Francisco be, and the same are, fixed as
the time and. place when and where any per, on or persons owninE real property within the territory
hereinbefore described., and so proposed to be annexed, and having any objection to the proposed.
annexation of said territory may appear before said City Council and chow cause whY said
territory should not be annexed.
The City Clerk of said City shall cause a copy of this resolution to be oublished
once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in the South San Francisco Enterprise-Journal, a news-
paper of general circulation published in said City of South San Francisco, and likewise for
two (2) consecutive weeks in the ~';~nce-Star, a newspaper of Eeneral circulation publishe~ in
the County of San Mateo, but els~,~here than in the City of South San Francisco, both of said
publications to be completed at least twenty (20) days prior to the date of the hearing provided
for in the paragraph next above.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held this
~gnd day of April 1956, by the followinf vote:
