A RF~SOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A COOP~A-~
tire AGREemENT BETWEEN SAID CITY AND JOINT HIGHWAY
DISTt~ICT NO. 10 OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA PROVIDING
FOR THE RESURFACING OF HICKEY BOULEVARD BET,~E~i JUNIP~O
SERRA BOULEVARD AND EL CAMINO RFAL IN SAID CITY.
~EREAS Joint Highway District No. 10, being comprised of the County of
San Mateo and the City and County of San Francisco, is a Jei~ctHighway District organized
pursuant to the provisions of Sections 25,000 et seq. of the Streets and Highways Cede
of the State of California; and
~E~EAS said Jeint Highway District Ne. 10 is desirous of entering into a
cooperative agreement with said City ef South San Francisco providing for t?~e resurfacing
of Hickey Boulevard between Junipero Serra Boulevard and E1 Camino Real, in said City ef
South San Francisco; and
~tEREAS said Joint Highway District No. 10 has agreed to contribute the
sum of Fifteen ~heusand Dollars ($15,000.O0) towards the cost of construction and construction
engineerinM, and also has agreed to pay the cest of preparation of all plans, specifications,
and preliminary engineering required for said project; and
~{E~EAS it is deemed to be in the best interests of the City of Seuth San
Francisco to enter into said cooperative agreement with said Joint Highway District Ne. 10,
NOW, TH~ORE, BE IT RFSOLVED by the City Council of the City ef Seuth
San Francisce that said city enter into a cooperative a~reement with Joint Highway District
No. 10 of the State ef California with respect to the resurfacing of Hickey Boulevard
between Jumipero Serfs Boulevard and E1 C~amine Real, in said City ef South San Francisco.
BE IT FURTPFR RESOLVED ~ha~ the Mayor of said City be, and he hereby is,
authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of said City, and the ~ity Clerk .f said
City is hereby directed to attest theret~ and sffix thereto the corperate sealo~f said
City.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted at a regular meetin~ of the City Council of the City of South San Francisc~
held on the 2th day ef June 1956, by the following vote:
