A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO DETERMINING THE UNPAID
ASSFSjMFiNT$ AND PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF
BONDS
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that
~tEREAS said. Council did; on August 29, 1955, pass and adopt its Resolution
of Intention No. 2207 relatin~ to th~ construction of public improvements in said City under and
pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Improvement Act of 1913, and did therein provide that
serial bonds would be issued thereunder pursuant to the provisions of the Improvement Bond Act of 1~15,
reference to said Resolution of Intention being hereby expressly made for further particulars; and
¥~EREAS notice of the recordation of the assessment and of the time within
which assessments may be paid in cash has been duly~m~lXa~ and mmi!ed in the manner provided by
law, and the time so provided for receiving the payment of assessments in cash has exoired, and on June 18,
1956 the City Engineer of said City has filed with the City Treasurer a list of all assessments which
new remain unpaid; and
WHERFAS the City Council has duly considered said list and has determined
that the same is an accurate statement thereof,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERFD AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the asses:~ments in said unpaid list which now remain unpaid, and
the aggregate thereof, are as shown on "EXHIBIT A" hereto attached and by reference made a part hereof.
2. That ~or a particular description of the lots bearin~ the respective
assessment numbers upon which a~sessments remain unpaid, severally and respectively, reference is hereby
made to the assessment and to the diagram recorded in the office of the Director of Public Works as
ex-officio Juoerintendent of Streets of said City after confirmstion by said Council.
3. That the amount of the ~npai~ assessments is FORTY-FIVE THOUSAND THREE
HUNDRED THIRTY-EIGHT and 76/lOOths Dellars($&5,338.76) and that bonds in the amount of FORTY-FIVE
THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED THIRTY-EIGHT and ?6/lOOths Dollars ($25,338.76) shall be issued upon the
security of said unpaid assesi;ments in accordance with the provisions of the Improvement Bend Act of
1915 and under and pursuant to the previsions of said Resolution of Intention and the proceedings
thereunder duly had and taken; that said bonds shall be sixty (60) in number, shall be dated July 2,
1956, and bear interest at the rate of five percent (5%) per annum from July 2, 1956, and the denomination
of sai~ bonds with their respective numbers and dates of maturity are as follows:

With reference te said bends, the first ceupen and all subsequent coupons attached to
bends Nos. 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19, 21, 22, 23, 25, 26, 27, 29, 30, 31,
33, 34, 35, 37, 38, 39, ~1, ~2, ~3, A5, ~6, 47, A9, 50, 51, 53, 54, 55, 57, 58, and 59 shall have a
denomination ef Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00). The First coupon and all subsequent coupons attached
te bonds Nos. 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28, 32, 36, 40, 4%, 48, 52, 56, and 60~A~i have a denomination
ef Fifty-Six Cents ($ .56).
The first coupons &~V~ referred te shall represent interest upon the principal ef said
bends to which the same are attached comingdue January 2, 1957, and the subsequent ceupens on each
bond shall represent the interest coming due on the principal ef the respective bonds to which the
same are attached for the several semi-annual periods subsequent te said date.
~. Said bonds shall beissued in series, and the unpaid assessments as shown on said
list filed with the Treasurer ef said City and determined by said Counci~ together with the interest
thereon, shall remain and constitut~ a trust fund for the redemption and payment of said bonds and of
the interest which may be due thereon, which unpaid assessments-shall be payable in annual series
corresponding in number to the number of series of bonds ~. ~A~ and an even annual proportion of each
assessment shall be payable in each year preceding the date of the maturity for each of the several
series of bonds issued, and such proportion of each assessment coming due in any year, together with
the annual interest~thereon, shall in turn be payable in installments as the general taxes of s~id
City on real property are payable~ and shall become delinquent at the same tine and in the same pro-
portiona~e amounts and bear the same proportionate penalties for delinquency.
5. Said bonds shall be signed by the Treasurer of said City and countersigned by the
Clerk, who shall affix thereto the official seal ef said City. The interest ceu~,ons affixed thereto
shall be signed by said Treasurer or bear his engraved, printed' or litho~rap?~ed signature; and such
signin~ and ~ealing of said be~ds by said officers and signing of said coupons by said Treasurer shall
constitute and be a sufficient and binding execution ~f each and every one of said bonds and all the
couDons thereof respectively. Said bonds shall be substantially in the form set forth in the Improve-
ment Bend Act of 1915. Said Treasurer and City Clerk of said City are hereby authorized and directed
so to sign and attest respectively.
6. The interest coupons attached to each of said bonds and evidencing the interest
to accrue thereon shall be numbered consecutively and be substantially in the following form;
