A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO CONFIRMING ASSESS~[ENT FOR
IMPROV~ENT WORK PERFORMED UNDER RESOLUTION OF
INTFNTION N0. 2184, ADOPTED ON THE 1ST DAY OF
AUGUST 1955, AND ORDERI~ISSUANCE OF WARRANT.
P~EAS no person has, in writing, c.omptained to or appealed to the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco with reference to the assessment made by the Director of Public ~rks, as
~ex-officio Superintendent of Streets of said City, upon the property declared to be benefited by the
public improvement work mentioned in Resolution of Intention No. 2184, adopted Au~ust l, 1955, and
said written protests, if any, and any and all oral protests, being hereby overruled; and
~EHEAS said City Council has heretoforedetermined that, in the public interest, the
City of South San Francisco should, and will, contribute, from an appropriate fund or funds, the sum
of Eleven Thousand Six Hundred Fifteen and 47/lOOths Dollars ($11,615.47) towards payment of a part
of the cost of that portion of the public improvement work to be performed pursuant to the terms of the
aforedesignated Resolution of Intention,' which consisted of improving Mission Road, because said Mission
Road has been so ~ened and'otherwise improved as to become a boulevard rather than to be a local
street only; and
%~k~EAS said City Council did, upon making the determination referred to in the preceding
paragraph, instruct the Director of Public %~rks of said City, as ex-officio Superintendent of Streets,
to prepare and file with the City Clerk, an amended assessment, which amended assessment has been so
prepared and filed,
NO].~, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED bY the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
that said assessment, as amended, be, and the same is hereby, confirmed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Director of Public Works of said City, as ex-officio
Superintendent of Streets, be, and he hereby is, directed to deliver to the contractor who performed
the improvement work mentioned in said Resolution of Intention No. 2184, or to his duly designated
assignee, said assessnent, as modified, to whi~ shall be attached a warrant authorizing said
contractor or to which shall be attached a warrant authorizing said contractor or said assignee to
demand and receive the several assessments upon said assessment, in the manner and form required by
law.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by
the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held this
4th day of September 1956, by the following vote:

Leo J. Ryan
