A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO REQUESTING THE BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF SAN ~TEO TO CANCEL
REAL PROPERTT'TAXES ASSESSED AGAINST CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY ACQUIRED BY SAID CITY AND USED SOLELY FOR
MUNICIPAL PURPOSES
~.~EREA~on the 17th day of January 1955, the City of South San Francisco acquired for
permanent public use~ portion of a ~ublic street, namely, Camaritas Avenue, the real property hereinafter
described, v~ich property is presently being used by said City for such public purpose; and
~EREAS, because such property was acquired for municipal purposes, as aforesaid, and is to
be so used, it is deemed to be in the best interests of the City of South San Francis~ and of the citizens
and taxpayers thereof that all real property taxes, together with any and all accrued penalties and interest,
should be cancelled in ~ull,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that
the Board of Supervisors of+~the County of San Mateo be, and it hereby is, requested to cancel all real
property taxes, together with any and all accrued penalties and interest~ levied against said~re~l property,
which is situate in the City of South San Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of California, and has been
designated on the tax rolls as follows:
0.83 Acres adjacent and Northwesterly of Lot 6, Block ~0 of Winston Manor ~N~. 3

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED ~15A~ Said Board of Supervisors be, and it hereby is, requested to
direct the assessor of said County of San Mabeo 9o remove said real property from the official tax and
assessment rol~of said County. In this connection, the City Clerk is hereby instructed to forward to
said Board of Supervisors a certified copy of this resolution.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the
City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 17th day of
September 1956, by the following vote:

Councilmen G. J. Rozzi, Andrew Rocca, Emilio Cortesi, Francis Lucchio and Leo Rysn
