RESOLUTION ~'~RDING CONTRACT
CITY OF SOUTH S~ F~ANCISCO
INDUSTRIAL PARK Ir.~ROV~.~T DISTRICT NO. 1
k~EREAS, the City Council of the City of South San Francisco heretofore by Resolution No. 2411,
adopted September ll, 1956, ordered the work and improvement described in Resolution of Intention No. 2dO1,
adopted August 27, 1956, and in the contract documents and plans and specifications described and referreed
to in said resolution of Intention in an assessment district designated "Industrial Park Improvement
District No. l" described and referred to in said Resolution of Intention; and
~.~$, said City Council, by Resolution adopted September ll, 1956, directed the publication
of a Notice Inviting'Sealed Proposals for the doinq of said work and improvement and fixedMonday, the 1st
day of October, 1956, at lO:O0 A.M. in the Council Chambers of the City Council, City Hall, South San
F~ancisco, as the time and place for the opening of sealed proposals for doing said work and improvement;
and
h~EREAS, said City Council in open session on October 1, 1956, publicly opened, examined and
declared all sealed proposals for doine said work and Lmprovement as described in said Resolution of
Intention, which Resolution of Intention is hereby expressly referred to for further information;

N~g, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San F~ancisco, as

The City Council hereby rejects all of said bids, except that '6f Fay Improvement Company
and hereby awards the contact of doing said work and making said improvement to Fay
Improvement Company, the lowest responsible bidder, at the unit prices named in the bid
of said bidder on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City.
2. ~e City Clerk is bereby directed forthwith to give written notice to said 'Fay
Improvement Company that said contract has been awarded to it.

The City Council hereby authorizes and directs the Mayor and the City Clerk on behalf
of the City of South San Francisco to execute a written contract with said bidder
for said work and improvement described in and pursuant to said Resolution of Intention,
that certain re~ort made and filed with the City Clerk of said City by the Engineers of
~rk for said Industrial Park Improvement District No. l, and the bid of said bidder,
in the time, form and manner provided by law, said contract to be in substantially the
form of agreement set forth in the plans and specifications included in said report of
said Engineers of Work.

and of?record in my office and that said resolution is duly noted of record in Book 9 of Minutes, at
page ll9, and said resolution is a full, true and correct copy of the original resolution adopted at said
meeting and noted in said minutes. That said resolution has not been amended, modified or rescinded since
the date of its adoption and the same is now in full force and effect.
