RESOLUTION SELLING IMPROVeMeNT BONDS
CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
INDUSTRIAL PARK I~ROVD~i~T DISTRICT NO. 1
WHE?EAS, the City Council of the City of South San Francisco on August 27, 1956, passed and adopted
its Resolution of Intention No. 2&O1 to-order the work to be done and improvement to be made in Industrial Park
Improvement District No. 1 in said 8ity, as described in said Resolution of Intention, under and pursuant to the
Municipal Improvement Act of 1913 and the Improvement Act of 1911 and an assessment and diagram were duly made
and filed and, after hearing duly noticed and held, were confirmed and approved, and were recorded in the office
of the City Tax Collector in the office of the Superintmndent of Streets of said City on September 12, 1956, and
notice of the recording of said assessment was duly given to the owner of all of the property in said Industrial
Park Improvement District No. l; and
WHERF~S, said owner of all of the property in said District assessed by said assessment has filed
with the Superintendent of Streets of said City a written notice stating that he will nd pay in cash &ny part
of the assessment or assessments against any property owned by him, that he waives his right to pay said assess-
ment or assessments in cash on or before the close of business on October 12, 1956, and that he requests that a
bond or bonds be issued under the Improvement Act of 1911 to represent the full remount of the unpaid assessment
or assessments against all property owned by him; and
WHEREAS, Naa~-Haynie~Utah, a partnership, has offered to purchase at the par value thereof
$365,&20 aggregate principal amount of bearer bonds to be issued in said proceedings under and pursuant to the
Improvement Act of 1911, said bonds to be dated October 15, 1956, to extend over a period of fourteen years frown
the second day of Janm~ry next succeeding the next October 15th following their date ~nd to bear interest at the
rate of 6% a year payable semi-annually beginning July 2, 1957; and. the City Council of said 8ity desires to sell
said bonds at private sale to said Haas-Haynie-Utah pursuant to its offer;
to wit:
NOir.f, TEEREFORE, BE IT ~ESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francis co, as follows,
Said offer of Haas-Haynie-Utah for $365,~20 principal amount of said bonds bearing interest
at the rate of 6% a year payable as aforesaid shall be, and is hereby accepted and the
Treasurer of said City is hereby authorized and directed to make out and sign said bonds
in bearer fc~m and to issue said bonds to said purchaser thereof upon payment to said
Treasurer of the purchase price, to wit, said par value thereof.
The City Treasurer is direct4d to cause to be lithogr~.phed, printed or engraved, pursuant to
the provisions of this resolution .and said Improvement Act of 1911, a sufficient number of
bonds and coupons of suitable quality, said bonds and coupons to show on t,~.,!r ·_race tn~.~ ~ne
same bear interest at the rate aforesaid.
RF~OLVED, ~U!~T~wR, that this resolution shall take effect from and after its passage and approval.

certify that the foregoing is a full, true and correct 6opy of a resolution adopted at a regular meeting of the
City Council of said City duly and regularly held at the regular meeting place thereof on theilst day of October,
1956, of which meeting all of the members of said City Council had due notice and at which a majority thereof
was present; that at said meeting said resolution was introduced by Councilman Rocca and was thereupon, adopted
by the following vote:

record in my office and that said resolution is duly noted of record in Book 9 of Minutes, page ll9, and said
resolution is a full, true and correct copy of the original resolution adopted at said meeting and noted in said
minutes. That said resolution has not been amended, modified or rescinded since the date of its adoption and
the same is now in full force and effect.
