A RESOLUTION OF TEE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO ADOPTING A BUDGET FOR THE PROPOSED EX-
PENDITURES OF THE ALLOCATION OF GAS TAX MONEYS FROM
TEE STATE OF CALIFORNIA TO SAID CITY FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR 1957, AND APPROVING A SECOND SUPPLEMENTAL
MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT FOR THE EXPENDITURE OF SUCH
MONEYS FOR TEE ~L~INTENANCE OF MAJOR CITY STREETS.
WHEREAS there has this date been presented to the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco a Second Supplemental Memorandum of Agreement to be entered into with the State of California
by said City, in accordance with a project statement submitted by said City for the expenditure of the
gas tax allocation to said City for the Fiscal year 1957; and

WHEREAS said City Council is fully familiar with the contents of said Second Supplemental
NOW, THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that said project statement be,
and it hereby is, adopted as the budget of proposed expenditures of the allocation of gas tax moneys to
said City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council that the aforementioned Second Supplemental
Memorandum of Agreement be, and the same hereby is, approved, and the Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute said Second Supplemental Memorandum of agreement ou behalf of said City and the City Clerk is
directed to attest to the same and affix thereto the corporate seal of said City~ it being expressly
understood by Said City Council that said Second Supplemental Memorandum of Agreement shall be binding
upon the City at such time as it shall be executed by the authorized officials of the State of
California.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted
by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held
this 5th day of November 1956, by the following vote:
AYES:
Councilmen G. J. Rozzi, Andrew Rocca, Emilio Cortesi, Francis Lucchio
and Leo J. Ryau.
