A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF
AN AGREEMENT EXECUTED BY CERTAIN OWNERS ON
SYLVESTER ROAD WITH RESPECT TO DEDICATION OF
LAND AND IMPROVING THE CITY'S STREET
SIDEWALKS
k~EREAS, the owners of certain property along Sylvester Road in the City of South San Francisco
to wit: George K. Jenson, Mary L. Jensen, Alfred E. Jensen, Henry G. Miller, Helen S. Miller, H. Herbst, M. H.
Herbst and Walter A. Demartini, Louis W. Demartini, Louis J. Demartini, as trustees, the Capital Company and the
Associated Construction & Engineering Co. have executed an Agreement for the benefit of the City of South San
Francisco, whereby said parties obligate themselves to dedicate a strip of land more particularly described in
said Agreement and improve said strip of land for City Street, paving and putting in or sidewalks included; and
City desires to accept said Agreement in connection with approval given to their subdivision.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby declare its willingness
to approve the Agreement, executed by the parties above named, to provide for a widening of Sylvester
Road and payment of the improvement charges.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor of said City is hereby authorized to endorse approval
of said Agreement e~ecuted for the benefit of the City of South San Francisco and the City Clerk is
instructed to affix thereto the corporate seal of the City.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by
the City Council cf the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 17th
day of December, 1956, by the following vote:
AYES:
Councilmen G. J. Rozzi, Andrew Rocca, Emilio Cortesi, Francis Lucchio and Leo J. Ryan.
