SAN FRANCISCO OPPOSING THE ARMY STREET CROSSING AND

in addition terminate near the hub of the northern part of San Mateo County providing
ready servic® to San Francisco and the southern communities, and
WHEREAS, said crossing would be more feasible and less susceptible to destruc-
tion than a suspension bridge and therefore more dependable as an escape and service route
in the event of war or other national emergencies.
