RESOLUTION NO. 2549
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO CHANGING THE NAME OF A CERTAIN PUBLIC
STREET FROM HUNTINGTON AVENUE EAST (FROM SOUTHERN
PACIFIC SPUR TRACK TO THE SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO CITY
LIMITS) TO SOUTH MAPLE AVENUE
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of South San Francis~:,has determined
that good cause exists for the changing of the name of the street known as
Huntington Avenue East (from Southern Pacific Spur Track to the South San Francisco
City Limits) to South Maple Avenue.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco does hereby change the name of that certain public street known as
Huntington Avenue East (from Southern Pacific Spur Track to the South San Francisco
City Limits) to South Maple Avenue.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Superintendent of Streets is hereby directed
to procure street signs to shown the change of said name above ordered and he is
further directed to erect said signs in the appropriate places.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly intro-
duced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
at a regular meeting held on the 2nd day of December 1957, by the following
vote:
AYES, Councilmen G. J. Rozzi, Andrew Rocca, hilio Cortesi, and Leo J. Ryan
· NOES, None
ABSENT, Councilman Francis Lucchio
