A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
SAN FIIANCISCOPROVIDING FOR THE HOLDING OF A GENERAL
MUNICIPAL ELECTION IN SAID CITY ON THE 8TH DAY OF
APRIL 1958, DESIGNATING PRECINCTS, POLLING PLACES,
AND ELECTION OFFICERS
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
that for the purpose of holding the general municipal election in said City on the
8th day of April 1958, as provided by law, said City be, and the same hereby is,
divided into thirty-seven (37) election precincts, to be known as:
LIST OF PRECINCTS
Voting Precinct A, Voting Precinct B, Voting Precinct C, Voting Precinct D, Voting
Precinct E, Voting Precinct F, Voting Precinct G, Voting Precinct H, Voting Precinct I
Voting Precinct J, Voting Precinct K, Voting Precinct L, Voting Precinct M, Voting
Precinct N, Voting Precinct O, Voting Precinct P, Voting Precinct Q, Voting Precinct R,
Voting Precinct S, Voting Precinct T, Voting Precinct U, Voting Precinct V, Voting
Precinct W, Voting ~recinct X, Voting Precinct Y, Voting Precinct Z, Voting Precinct AA,
Voting Precinct BB,.Voting Precinct CC, Voting Precinct DD, Voting Precinct EE, Voting
Precinct FF, Voting Precinct GG, Voting Precinct HH, Voting Precinct II, Voting Precinct JJ,
and Voting Precinct KK, respectively.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by said City Council that the aforesaid precincts and
the polling places thereof shall be designated as follows:
DESIGNATION OF PRECINCTS AND POLLING PLACES
THEREOF FOR SAID GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION
Voting Precinct A shall include all the territory described in South San Fran-
cisco Precinct No. 12 as established by that certain resolution numbered 12,528 and
entitled, "RESOLUTION AND ORDER DIVIDING THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, CALIFORNIA, INTO
ELECTION PRECINCTS AND ESTABLISHING BOUNDARIES THEREOF", passed and adopted by the Board
of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, California, on the 7th day of January, 1958,
and the polling place for said Voting Precinct A shall be in Painter's Garage at No, 41
Randolph Avenue in said City of South San Francisco.
Voting Precinct B shall include all the territory described in South San Fran-
cisco Precincts Nos. 1 and 27 as established by said resolution of the Board of Super-
visors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for said Voting Precinct B
shall be in Ruiz Basement at No. 851 Maple Avenue, in said City.
Voting Precinct C shall include all the territory described in South San Fran-
cisco Precincts Nos. 15 and 39, as established by said resolution of the Board of Super-
visors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for said Voting precinct C shall
be in Copan's Garage at No. 123 Claremont Avenue, in said City,
Voting Precinct D shall include all the territory described in South San Fran-
cisco Precinct Nos. 40 and 41, as established by said resolution of the Board of Super-
visors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for said Voting Precinct D shall
be in the Bray's Residence at No, 1002 Hemlock Avenue, in said City.
Voting Precinct E shall include all the territory described in South San Fran-
cisco Precincts Nos. 7 and 9, as established by said resolution of the Board of Supervisors
of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for. said Voting. Precinct E shall be in
Espinosa's Garage at No. 207 California Avenue, in said City.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by said City Council that the aforesaid precincts and
the polling places thereof shall be designated as follows:

Voting Precinct A shall include all the territory described in South San Fran-
cisco Precinct No. 12 as established by that certain resolution numbered 12,528 and
entitled, "RESOLUTION AND ORDER DIVIDING THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, CALIFORNIA, INTO
ELECTION PRECINCTS AND ESTABLISHING BOUNDARIES THEREOF", passed and adopted by the Board
of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, California, on the 7th day of January, 1958,
and the polling place for said Voting Precinct A shall be in Painter's Garage at No. 41
Randolph Avenue in said City of South San Francisco.
Voting Precinct B shall include all the territory described in South San Fran-
cisc° Precincts Nos. 1 and 27 as established by said resolution of the Board of Super-
visors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for said Voting Precinct B
shall be in Ruiz Basement at No. 851 Maple Avenue, in said City.
Voting Precinct C shall include all the territory described in South San Fran-
cisco Precincts Nos. 15 and 39, as established by said resolution of the Board of Super-
visors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for said Voting Precinct C shall

Voting Precinct D shall include all the territory described in South San Fran-

Voting Precinct E shall include all the territory described in South San Fran-
cisco Precincts Nos. 7 and 9, as established by said resolution of the Board of Supervisors
of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for. said Voting Precinct E shall be in
Espinosa's Garage at No. 207 California Avenue, in said City.
Voting Precinct F shall include all the territory described in South San Fran-
cisco Precincts Nos.ll and 14, as established by said resolution of the Board of Super-
visors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for said Voting Precinct F shall
be in the Carlson Rumpus Room at 326 Armour Avenue, in said City.
Voting Precinct G shall include all the territory described in South San Fran-
cisco Precincts Nos. 10 and 16, as established by said resolution of the Board of Super-
visors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for said Voting Precinct G shall
be in Zucco's Barber Shop at No. 218 Linden Avenue, in said City.
Voting Precinct H shall include all the territory described in South San Fran-
cisco Precincts Nos. 8 and 28, as established by said resolution of the Board of Super-
visors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for said Voting Precinct H shall
be in Spruce Avenue School at Spruce Avenue, in Said City.
Voting Precinct I shall include all the territory described in South San Fran-
cisco Precincts Nos. 4 and 17, as established by said resolution of the Board of Super-
visors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for said Voting Precinct I shall
be in Tognela's Basement at No. 601 Miller Avenue, in said City.
Voting Precinct J shall include all the territory described in South San Fran-
cisco Precincts Nos. 6 and 13, as established by said resolution of the Board of Super-
visors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for said Voting Precinct J shall
be in Bernard's Basement, at No. 432 Baden Avenue, in said City.
Voting Precinct K shall include all the territory described in South San Fran-
cisco Precincts Nos. 3 and 5, as established by said resolution of the Board of Super-
visors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for said Voting Precinct K shall
be in Lazzari's Residence at No, 529 Baden Avenue, in said City.
Voting Precinct L shall include all the territory described in South San Fran-
cisco Precincts Nos. 21 and 23, as established by said resolution of the Board of Super-
visors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for said Voting Precinct L shall
be in the Sciandri Rumpus Room at No. 735 Miller Avenue, in said City.
Voting Precinct M shall include all the territory described in South San
Francisco Precincts Nos. 2 and 29, as established by said resolution of the Board of
Supervisors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for said Voting
Precinct M shall be in 0liver's Garage at No. 700 Circle Court, in said City.
Voting Precinct N shall include all the territory described in South San
Francisco Precincts Nos. 20 and 22, as established by said resolution of the Board of
Supervisors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for said Voting
Precinct N shall be in Harrington's Garage at No. 141 iF'i'r Avenue, in said City.
Voting Precinct O shall include all the territory described in South San
Francisco Precincts Nos. 18 and 51, as established by said resolution of the Board of
Supervisors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for said Voting
Precinct O shall be in Petroni's Garage at No. 407 W. Orange Avenue, in said City.
Voting Precinct P shall include al.[ the territory described in South San
Francisco Precincts Nos. 19 and 30, as established by said resolution of the Board
of Supervisors of said County of San Marco, and the polling place for said Voting
Precinct P shall be in Carlyle's Garage at No. 708 W. Orange Avenue, in said City.
Voting Precinct Q shall include all the territory described in South San
Francisco Precincts Nos. 44 and 45, as established by said resolution of the Board of
Supervisors of said County of San ~ateo, and the polling place for said Voting
Precinct Q shall be in Beccone's Garage at No. 18 Graystone Drive, in said City.
Voting Precinct R shall include all the territory described in South San
Francisco Precincts Nos. 50 and 67, as established by said resolution of the Board
of Supervisors of said County of San ~ateo, and the polling place for said Voting
Precinct R shall be in the E1 Rancho School at Del Monte and Romney Avenues, in said
City.
Voting Precinct S shall include all the territory described in South San
Francisco Precinct No. 48, as established by said resolution of the Board of Super-
visors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for said Voting Precinct S
shall be in Kerwin's Residence at No. 241Wicklow Drive, in said City.
Voting Precinct T shall include all the territory described in South San
Francisco Precinct No. 49, as established by said resolution of the Board of Super-
visors of said County of San ~ateo, and the polling place for said Voting Precinct T
shall be in Moakler's Garage at No. 901 Gibbs Way, in said City.
Voting Precinct U shall include all the territory described in South San
Francisco Precincts Nos. 46 and 47, as established by said resolution of the Board of
Supervisors of said County of San Marco, and the polling place for said Voting
Precinct U shall be in Heise's ResidenCe at No. 131Buxton Avenue, in said City.
Voting Precinct V .shall include all the territory described in South San
Francisco Precinct No. 38, as established by said resolution of the Board of Super-
visors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for said Voting Precinct V
shall be in Hargis's Basement 'at No. 425 Alta Vista Drive, in said City.
Voting Precinct W shall include all the territory described in South San
Francisco Precincts Nos. 60 and 61, as established by said resolution of the Board
of Supervisors of said County of San ~ateo, and the polling place for said Voting
Precinct W shall be in Barker's Garage at No. 443 Alhambra, in said City.
Voting Precinct X shall include all the territory described in South San
Francisco Precinct No. 35, as established by said resolution of the Board of Super-
visors of said County of San Marco, and the polling place for said Voting Precinct X
shall be in Stuller's Garage at No. 154 Francisco Drive, in said City.
Voting Precinct Y shall include all the territory described in South San
Francisco Precincts Nos. 24 and 26, as established by said resolution of the Board of
Supervisors of said County of San Marco, and the polling place for said Voting
Precinct Y shall be in Robinson's Garage at No. 201MaywoQd Way, in said City.
Voting Precinct Z shall include all the territory described in South San
Francisco Precinct No. 25, as established by said resolution of the Board of Super-
visors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for said Voting Precinct Z
shall be in Lewis's Garage at No. 237 Manor Drive, in said City.
Voting Precinct AA shall include all the territory described in South San
Francisco Precincts Nos. 36 and 37, as established by said resolution of the Board
of Supervisors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for said Voting
Precinct AA shall be in Apman's Garage at No. 430 Northwood Drive, in said City.
Voting Precinct BB Shall include all the territory deScribed in South San
Francisco Precincts Nos. 52 and 56, as established by said resolution of the Board of
Supervisors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for said Voting
Precinct BB shall be in Baldassini's Garage at No. 215 Chestnut Avenue, in said City.
Voting Precinct CC shall include all the territory described in South San
Francisco Precincts Nos. 53 and 54, as established by said resolution of the Board
of Supervisors of said County of San ~ateo, and the polling place for said VOting
Precinct CC shall be in the Casey's Basement at No. 261Westview Drive, in said City.
Voting Precinct DD shall include all the territory described in South San
Francisco'Precincts Nos. 55 and 57, as established by said resolution of the Board of
Supervisors of said County of San ~ateo, and the polling place for said Voting Precinct
DD shall be in Sunshine Gardens School at Miller Avenue, in said City.
Voting Precinct EE shall include all the territory described in South San
Francisco Precincts Nos. 58 and 59, as established by said resolution of the Board of
Supervisors of said County of San Marco, and the polling place for said Voting Precinct
EE shall be in the Geske's Residence at No. 1154 Crestwood Drive, in said City.
Voting Precinct FF shall include all the territory described in South San
Francisco Precincts Nos. 31 and 43, as established by said resolution of the Board of
Supervisors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for said Voting Precinct
FF shall be in the Royal's Workshop at No. 206 Camaritas Avenue, in said City.
Voting Precinct GG shall include all the.territory described in South San
Francisco Precincts Nos. 64 and 66, as established by said resolution of the Board of
Supervisors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for said Voting Precinct
Cd; shall be in Burl Burl Elementary School at Del Monte Avenue and E1Campo Drive, in
said City.
Voting Precinct HH shall include all the territory described in South San
Francisco Precincts Nos. 32 and 33, as established by said resolution of the Board of
Supervisors of said County o~ San Mateo, and the polling place for said Voting Precinct
HH shall be in the Burl Burl Fire Station at E1Camino Real, in said City.
Voting Precinct II shall include all the territory described in South San
Francisco Precincts Nos. 34 and 42, as established by said resolution of the Board of
Supervisors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for said Voting Precinct
II shall be in Genovesi's Basement at No. 240 Cuesta Drive, in said City.
Voting Precinct JJ shall include all the territory described in South San
Francisco Precincts Nos. 65 and 68, as established by said resolution of the Board of
Supervisors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for said Voting Precinct
JJ shall be in McCallum's Garage at No. 323 Serra Drive, in said City.
Voting Precinct KK shall include all the territory described in South San
Francisco Precincts Nos. 62 and 63, as established by said resolution of the Board of
Supervisors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for said Voting Precinct
KK shall be in Glynn's Garage at No. 119 Lomitas Avenue, in said City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the following named persons be, and they hereby
are, appointed as members, or officers, of the election boards for the aforesaid precincts:

At said general municipal election the polls in each of said voting precincts
shall be opened at 7 o'clock a.m. of the day of election and shall be kept open
until 8 o'clock p.m. of said day, when the polls shall be closed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said City Clerk. shall, as provided for by law,
cause to be prepared and to be printed for the aforesaid precincts, for the use of
the votors at said general election, a sufficient number of ballots, said ballots
to be printed upon the proper kind of paper, to wit: the same as is used at the
general elections in the State of California. In addition; said City Clerk shall,
as required by law, procure all necessary election materials and supplies to be
used at said precincts for the conduct of said general election, including the ob-
taining and erecting of necessary voting booths.
BE IT STILL FURTHER RESOLVED THAT said City Clerk be, and he hereby is,
directed to give notice of the aforesaid designation of election officers and poll-
ing places by one publication thereof in the "SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO ENTERPRISE-
JOURNAL".
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regu-
larly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 17th day of February, 1958, by
the following vote:
