A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO ESTABLISHING THE PREVAILING
WAGE SCALE FOR THE PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT PROCEEDING
IN CONNECTION WITH THE IMPROVEMENT OF "HARBOR WAY"
AND "ALLEN AVENUE"
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, Calif-
ornia that
WHEREAS the City Council of said City has ascertained the general prevailing
rate of per diem wages in the locality in which public work is proposed to be performed
for work of a similar character to that described in Resolution of Intention No. 2567
adopted on January 6, 1958; and
WHEREAS said rate of per diem wages is set forth and contained in the specifi-
cations for said project, copies of which are on file in the office of the City Clerk
of said City; and
WHEREAS this City Council has duly considered said scale and does find the
same to be correct in all particulars,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY FOUND, DETERMINED, AND ORDERED AS FOLLOWS:
1. That said wage scale as set forth in said specifications is hereby estab-
lished and adopted as the prevailing rate of per diem wages for work of a similar char-
acter to that above described in the loCality in which such public work is proposed to
be performed.
2. That not less than said prevailing rate of per diem wages shall be paid
for any work proposed to be performed under said Resolution of Intention.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
at a regular meeting held this 3rd day of March, 1958, by the following vote:
AYES, Councilmen G. J. Rozzi, Andrew Rocca, Emilio Cortesi, Francis Lucchio
and Leo J. Ryan
