A RESOLUTION APPOINTING ENGINEER AND ATTORNEYS
IfADRONK AVENUE
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, California,
that
WHEREAS, this Council has determined to undertake proceedings pursuant to approp-
riate assessment and assessment bond acts for the construction and financing of public
improvements in said Cl'ty~
WHEI/KAS, the public interest and general welfare will be served by appoint-
and employing engineers and attorneys for the preparation and conduct of said pro-
coedings'and'work in connectionv~th said improvements;
NOW, ~n~lt~ORE- I?IS ORDKRKD, as follows:
1. That Louis H. Goss, Director of Public Works, South San Francisco, Calif-
ornia, b~, and he is hereby, appointed as the Engineer to do and porform all engineer-
ink work necessary in and for said proceedings, including all 'preliminary surveying,
preparation of report, plans, profiles, specifications, estimate of costs, diagram,
assessment';'setttnK'"'grade'stakes'and'inspect~on'and supervision of work; that his com-
pensation be,' and it is' hereby', fixed aaa reasonable engineering fee for all of said
engineering, said foe to be approved by the City Council of said City, and to be
assessed' as an i~idental expense of said proceedings.
2. That' the~ law firmsJohn Noonan, South San Francisco, California, and
Kirkbride, Wilson, Harzfeld' & Wallace, San Ifateo, California,"be, and they are hereby,
appointedand employed to'do and perform all legal services required in the conduct
of said proceedings, i~cludinK the preparation of all papersnot required to be pre-
pared by the Director of'Public Works, examining and approving the engineering docu-
mentsandladvisin~'the'Director'"of'Public'Works' in'the-preparmtion of hiswork, advis-
ing: all City officials, on all matters relatinkthereto when called upon, and furnishing
their legal opinion on the validity of said proceedings and bonds, and that their com-
pensation be, and it is hereby, fixed at 2% of the construction cost, exclusive of
incidentals, or $350 minimum, together with reasonable fees for services in acquiring
easements or in eminent domain or other suits, to be assessed as an incidental
expense of said proceedings,

and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular
