RESOLUTION NO. 2622
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO DETERMINING THE UNPAID ASSESSMENTS AND PROVIDING
FOR THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
that
WHEREAS said City Council did, on january 6, 1958, pass and adopt its
Resolution of Intention No. 2567 relating to the construction of public improve-
ments in said City under and pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Improvement
Act of 1913, as amended, and did therein provide that serial bonds would be issued
thereunder pursuant to the provisions of the Improvement Bond Act of 1915, reference
to said Resolution of Intention being hereby expressly made for further particulars;
and
WHEREAS notice of the recordation of the assessments, and of the time
within which the assessments may be paid in cash has been duly published and
mailed in the manner provided by law, and whereas the time so provided for receiv-
ing the payment of assessments in cash has expired; and whereas, on April 21, 1958,
the Director of Public Works of said City, its ex-officio Superintendent of Streets,
did file with the City Treasurer of said city a list of all assessments remaining
unpaid; and
WHEREAS said City Council has duly considered said list and has deter-
mined that the same is an accurate statement thereof,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by said City Council as follows:
1. That the assessments in said unpaid list which now remain unpaid,
and the aggregate thereof, are as shown on "EXHIBIT A", attached hereto and by
this reference made a part hereof.
2. That reference is hereby made to the assessment and to the diagram
recorded in the Office of the said Director of Public Works, as ex-officio Super-
intendent of Streets of said city, as said assessment and diagram have been con-
firmed by said City Council, for a particular description of the lots bearing the
respective assessment numbers upon which assessments remain unpaid, severally and
respectively.
3. That the amount of the unpaid assessments is One Hundred Five
Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty-five and 80/100 Dollars ($105,855.80) and that bonds
in the amount of One Hundred Five Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty-five and 80/100
Dollars ($105,855.80) shall be issued upon the security of said unpaid assessments
in accordance with the provisions of the aforementioned Improvement Bond Act of
1915 and under and pursuant to the provisions of said Resolution of Intention, and
the proceedings thereunder duly had and taken; that said bonds shall be one hundred
twenty (120) in number, shall be dated May 2, 1958, and bear interest at the rate
of not-to-exceed six percent (6%) from May 2, 1958, and the denominations of said
bonds with their respective numbers and dates of maturity are as follows:

4. That said bonds shall be issued in series, and the unpaid assessments
as shown on the aforesaid list of unpaid assessments, as filed with the City
Treasurer of said City and as determined by said City Council, together with the
interest thereon, shall remain and constitute a trust fund for the redemption and
payment of said bonds and of the interest which may become due thereon,, which unpaid
assessments shall be payable in annual series corresponding in number to the number~
of series of bonds issued, and an even annual proportion of each assessment shall
be payable in each year pr~ceding the date of ~he maturity for each of the several
series of bonds issued, and such proportion of each assessment coming, due in
any year, together/with the annual' interest thereon, shall~in~turn be payable
in installments in the same manner:-as are the general real, prOPerty, taXes levied

5. That said bonds shall be signed by the City Treasurer of said City and be
countersigned by the City Clerk, who shall affix thereto the official seal of said
City; t,hat the interest coupons affixed thereto shall be signed by the City Treasurer,
or, in lieu thereof, bear his engraved, printed, or lithographed signature; and that
such signing of said coupons by said City Treasurer shall constitute, and be, a suf-
ficient and binding execution of each and every one of said bonds and all the coupons
thereof, respectively; that said bonds shall be substantially in the form set forth
in said Improvement Bond Act of 1915 and that said City Treasurer and said City
Clerk are hereby authorized and directed so to sign and countersign, respectively.
6. That the interest coupons to be attached to each of said bonds, and eviden-
cing the interest to accrue thereon, shall be numbered consecutively and be substan-
tially in the following form:

7. That the City Clerk shall forward a certified copy of this resolution to
the City Treasurer and City Auditor.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly adopted and passed by the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco, California, at a regular meeting thereof, held
on the 21st day of April 1958, by the following vote:
