RESOLUTION NO. 2659
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL' OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO MAKE CHANGES
AND MODIFICATIONS IN THE tVORK OF IMPROVEMENT PROPOSED
FOR HARBOR WAY ASSESSMENT DISTRICT, AS SET FORTH IN
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 2567 AND THE NOTICES pUB_
LISHED AND MAILED TO' THE PROPERTY "OWNERS PURSUANT THERETO
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that in
its opinion the public interest, convenience, and necessity require, and that it is the in-
tention of this City Council to make, the following changes and modifications in the work of
public improvement specified in-this City Council's Resolution of Intention No. 2567, passed
and adopted on the 6th day of January 1958, to-wit:
That the description of the work proposed to be done, as.outlined in the aforesaid
Resolution of Intention, be changed and modified so aS~td'provide that, in addition to the
work of improvement so specified, there be included the'following:"
(a) The improvement of the public street known as "Allen Avenue", extending from
Harbor Way to a point approximately eight hundred eighty (880) feet easterly thereof, the
same to be improved in the same manner specified for Harbor Way in said Resolution of In-
tention, as herein proposed to be modified;
(b) By adding to the work of improvement to be performed, as specified in said
Resolution of Intention, as follows: The construction and installation of sanitary sewer
facilities and a fire alarm system, the relocating of a'poWer pole, the installation of
monuments, storm drain manholes, and street signs.
(c) The acquisition of disposal rights in an existing storm drain facility, as
indicated in the plans and specifications prepared by the engineers for Harbor Way Assess-
ment District.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by said City Council that Monday, the 7th day of July,
i~58,, at the hour of 8 o'clock p.m. and the Council Chambers, City'Ha11, South San Francisco,
California, be, and they hereby are, fixed as the time and place when and where said City
Council will consider the' matter of making the aforesaid changes and modifications and will
hear any and all Protests from persons interested therein.
BE IT ALSO RESOLVED by said CitYCouncil that the City Clerk of said city shall
cause notice to be given (a) of said City Council's intention to make the hereinbefore pro-
posed changes and modifications and (b) of the time and place for hearing protests, as
hereinbefore specified. Such notice shall be given by publishing once, in the newspaper
designated for such purpose, at least ten (10) days before the time of the above-designated
hearing, a copy of this resolutio~ to be captioned as follows: "NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
RELATIVE TO PROPOSED CHANGES AND MODIFICATIONS IN SCOPE OF WORK OF IMPROVEMENT".
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of South San Francisco held on the 16th day of June,
1958, by the following vote:
AYES, Councilmen G. J. Rozzi, Andrew Rocca, Emilio Cortesi,
Leo J. Ryan and Patrick E. Ahern
