RESOLUTION ADOPTING, CONFIRMING AND APPROVING
ENGINEERS' REPORT OF ACQUISITIONS AND IMPROVE-
MENTS IN INDUSTRIAL PARK IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
NO. 3 AND APPOINTING TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING
PROTESTS TO PROPOSED &CQUiSITIONS AND IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of South San Francisco by Resolution
of Intention heretofore adopted on July 21, 1958, by said City Council, declared its
intention to do the work and make the acquisitions and improvements in Industrial Park
Improvement District No. 3 therein described; and
WHEREAS, said City Council in and by said resolution referred said proposed
work and acquisitions and improvements to Wilsey & Ham, Engineers, San Mateo County,
California, and directed said Engineers to make and file with the City Clerk of the
City of South San Francisco a report in writing containing the matters specified in
Section 10204 of the Streets and Highways Code; and
WHEREAS, said Engineers have on this date filed with the City Clerk of the
City of South San Francisco their report in writing containing said matters specified
in said Section 10204 of the Streets and Highways Code, including the follOwing:
(a) Plans and specifications of the proposed improvements;
(b)
A general description of'the property necessary or convenient for
the operation of said work and improvements and to be acquired as
a part of the improvements; ,
(c) An estimate of the cost of the proposed work and acquisitions and
improvements and incidental expenses,in connection therewith;
(d)
A diagram showing the assessment district and the boundaries and
dimensions of the subdivisions of land within the district as they
existed at the time of t'he passage of said Resolution of Intention,
each of which subdivisions has been given a separate number upon
said diagram, and showing the relative location of the parcels of
land to the work'proposed to be done and the acquisitions and im-
provements to be made;
(e) A proposed assessment of the total amount of the cost and expenses
of the proposed acquisitions and improvements distributed and allo-
cated upon the several Subdivisions, of land in the district in
Proportion to the estimated benefits to be received by such sub-
divisions, respectively, from the acquisitions and improvements;
and
WHEREAS, said report has been duly presented by said City Clerk to the City
Council for consideration and has been fully considered by the City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, as follows:
1. Said report, including said plans and specifications, general description,
estimate of the cost of acquisitions and improvements and of land, rights of way, ease-
ments and incidental expenses in connection therewith, diagram and proposed assessment,
are hereby adopted, confirmed and approved.
2. Tuesday, the 2nd day of September, 1958, at 8:00 P.M. (Cal. D.S.T.) at the
meeting room of the City Council, City Hall, South San Francisco, California,.are
hereby fixed as the time and place for hearing protests to the proposed acquisitions
and improveme~ts. Any interested person may object to the proposed acquisitions and
improvements, the extent of the assessment district or to the proposed assessment by
filing a written protest with the City Clerk of the City of South San Francisco at or
before said time set for said hearing, and said City Clerk shall endorse on each pro-
test the date of its receipt and at said time appointed for said hearing shall present
to the City Council all protests filed with said City Clerk.
3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice by mail of the adoption
of said Resolution of Intention and of the filing of said report to the owner of the
real property proposed to be assessed by mailing to said owner a copy of this resolu-
tion duly certified by said Clerk and a copy of said report. The publishing and
l~ng of notice of improvement and mailing of notice of adoption of said Resolution
of Intention, as required by law, have all been waived by said owner.
