A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FI~NCISCO CANCELLING TAXES ON PROPERTY
ACQUIRED BY THE SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO UNIFIED
SCHOOLDISTRICT
WHEREAS, the South San Francisco Unified School District has acquired certain
parcels of real property, more particularly described in Exhibit "A"; and pursuant to
Revenue and Taxation Code 4986 has requested cancellation of all uncollected city taxes,
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of South San Francisco desires to
authorize the City Attorney to consent to said cancellation pursuant to the provision
of 4986 of the Revenue and Taxation Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the uncollected city taxes on the parcels
of real property designated as parcels 1, 2 and 3, and more particularly described in
Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by said reference made a part hereof as if set forth in
verbatim, be, and they are hereby, cancelled; and the City Attorney is hereby authorized
to consent to said cancellation pursuant to 4986 of the Revenue and Taxation Code.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
at a regular meeting held this 2nd day of September, 1958, by the following
vote:
AYES, Councilmen G0 J. Rozzi, Andrew Rocca, Emilio Cortesi, Leo J. Ryan
and Patrick E. Ahem

All that real property situate in the City of South San Francisco, County of San Mateo,
State of California, described as follows:
PARCEL 1.
(Acquired from S. V. Armanino, et al, by Final Order of Condemnation
dated May 8, 1958.)
BEGINNING at a point in the Easterly line of Chestnut Avenue in the City of South San
Francisco, said point being distant North 15° 33' East 614.79 feet from the intersection
of the Northerly line of Miller Avenue, with the Easterly line of Chestnut Avenue as
said avenues are shown~on map entitled "South San Francisco, San Mateo Co. Cal. Plat No.
1," recorded March 1, 1892 in Book 2 of Maps at page 52, Records of San Mateo County;
running thence from said point of beginning along said Easterly line of Chestnut Avenue,
North 15° 33' East 244.35 feet; thence leaving Chestnut Avenue South 74° 27' East 506
feet; thence South 15° 33' West 244.35 feet; thence North 74° 27' West 506 feet to the
point of beginning. CONTAINING 2.838 acres, more or less.
PARCEL 2. (Acquired by Deed dated May 9, 1958, from Genoeffa Giusto)
BEGINNING at a point on the Easterly line of Chestnut Avenue in the City of South
San Franc~co, said point being distant North 15° 33' East 470.00 feet from the inter-
section of the Northerly line of Miller Avenue with the Easterly line of Chestnut Avenue
as said Miller Avenue and Chestnut Avenue are shown on the map entitled "South San Fran-
cisco, San Mateo Co., Cal. Plat No. 1" filed in the office of the County Recorder of
San Mateo County on March 1, 1892 in Book "B" of Maps at page 6 and copied into Book 2
of Maps at page 52; thence running from said point of beginning along the Easterly line
of Chestnut Avenue North 15° 33' East 144.79 feet; thence leaving Chestnut Avenue, South
74° 27' East 506 feet: thence at right angles South 15° 33' West 144.79 feet;thence at
right angles North 74° 27' West 506 feet to the point of beginning.
PARCEL 3. (Acquired by Deed dated May 9, 1958, from Genoeffa Giusto)
BEGINNING at a point on the Easterly line of Chestnut Avenue in the City of South
San Francisco, said point being distant N. 15° 33' E. 410.00 feet from the intersection
of the Northerly line of Miller Avenue with the Easterly line of Chestnut Avenue as
said Miller Avenue and Chestnut Avenue are shown on that certain map entitled "South
San Francisco, San Mateo Co. Cal. Plat No. 1" filed in the office of the County Recorder
of San Mateo County on March 1, 1892 in Book "B" of Original Maps at page 6; and copied
into Book 2 of Maps at page 52, running_thence from said point of beginning along the
Easterly line of Chestnut Avenue, N. 15 33 E. 60.00 feet; thence leaving Chestnut
Avenue S. 74° 27' E. 506 feet; thence at right angles S. 15° 33' W. 60.00 feet; thence
at right angles N. 74° 27' W. 506 feet to the point of beginning. CONTAINING 0.697
of an acre, more or less, and being a portion of Buri Buri Rancho.
