HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2786-1959RESOLUTION NO. 2786 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO CONFIRMING AN A~ENDED ASSESSMENT - HARBOR WAY ASSESSMENT DISTRICT WHEREAS, ~he City Council of the City of South San Francisco has heretofore ordered the filing of an amended assessment and pursuant thereto the Director of Public Works, ex-officio Superintendent of Streets, has filed with the City Clerk report and amended assessment of the lot or parcel of land described in Exhibit attached,hereto, which report includes the map or plot plan showing how such lot or parcel has been divided and the amended assessment so that the total amount of the assessments of the several portions of said lot or parcel are equal to the unpaid assessment upon the original lot or parcel, and WHEREAS, notice has been duly given and hearing held as required by law and'the City Council upon said hearing held May 18, 1959, has determined that no ob- jections have been filed and good cause exists for the making of said amended assessment. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the amended assessment of Harbor Way Assessment District, as set forth in the report of the Director of Public Works, ex-officio Superintendent of Streets, attached hereto, and the same is hereby confirmed and the City Clerk shall take the required action to have entered upon the assessment roll the installments becoming due on each component part.of the original parcel opposite a description of the res- pective parcels so assessed. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council at their regular meeting held the 18th day of May, 1959, by the following vote: AYES, Councilmen Andrew Rocca, G. RODONDI CITY CLERK "EXHIBIT A" DESCRIPTION OF PARCEL 9A BEGINNING at a point on the Easterly line of that certain 50 foot Roadway described in Deed from Grace F. and E. R. Guerin to Ed Rosemont dated April 16, 1948 and recorded April 21, 1948, in Book 1454 of Official Records of San MateoCounty on page 293 thereof (27142-H), said point of beginning being distant thereon, North 00° 06' 30" East 434.34 feet from the Southerly boundary of that certain 15.743 acre tract of land described in the deed from the Metal and Th~mit Corporation, to Grace F. Guerin dated June 17, 1947 and recorded July 21, 1947 in Book 1352 of Official Records of San Mateo County on Page 373 (77876-G); thence from said point of beginning which is marked with an iron Pipe Monument, North 89° 52' 30" East 426.27 feet to a point on the Easterly line of said 15.743 acre tract; thence South 0° 6' 30" West along Easterly line of said 15.743 acre tract 70.69 feet to a point; thence South 33 21' 30" West along Easterly line of said 15.743 acre tract 83.582 feet to a point; thence North 89° 51' 14" West 380.478 feet to a point on the Easterly line of the 50 foot r~adway first referred to above: thence North 00° 06' 30" East along the easterly line of said roadway 140.34 feet to the point of beginning, containing approximately 58,228 square feet. DESCRIPTION OF PARCEL 9B BEGINNING at a point on the Easterly line of that certain 50 foot roadway described in the Deed from Ed Reyburn Guerin and Grace F. Guerin, his wife, to Ed. Rosemont, dated April 16, 1948 and recorded April 21, 1948 in Book 1454 of Official Records of San Mateo County at page 293 (27142-H), said point of beginning being distant thereon North 00° 06' 30" East 294.00 feet from the Southerly boundary of that certain 15.743 acre tract of land des- cribed in the Deed from Metal and Thermit Corporation, a corporation, to Grace F. Guerin, dated June 17, 1947 and recorded July 24, 1947 in Book 1352 of Official Records of San Mateo County at page 373 (77876-G); thence from said point of beginning North 89° 52' 30" East 380.00 feet, more or less, to a point on the Easterly line of said 15.743 acre tract above re- ferred to; thence South 33° 21' 30" West, along the Easterly line of said 15.743 acre tract, 110.00 feet, more or less, to the Northerly line of the lands described in the Deed from Grace F. Guerin, to Pacific Coast Builders, a co-partnerships dated October 26, 1954 and recorded October 27, 1954 in Book 2677 of Off~cial Records of San Mateo County at page 73 (97326-L); thence along the last mentioned line Westerly 310.00 feet, more or less, to the Easterly line of that'50 foot roadway above mentioned; thence along the last mentioned line,North 00° 06' 30" East 91.00 feet to the point of be- ginning.
