A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO OPPOSING
ASSEMBLY BILL NO. 590
WHEREAS, adequate sick leave and health and accident benefits are provided for
the employees of South San Francisco, and
WHEREAS, Assembly Bill No. 590 would impose an additional cost on city government
for,benefits already provided, and
WHEREAS, the City Counc~ has considered a request of the South San Francisco
Municipal Employees Association to register opposition to said bill and further the contents
of said bill.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Fran-
cisco that said City Council does oppose the passage of Assembly Bill No. ~590 because it
imposes an additional cost of municipal government for benefits already provided for its
employees.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the 18th day of May, 1959, by the following vote:
