HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2860-1959 RESOLUTION NO. 2860 ORDERING VACATION OF ROZZI WAY RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco and this Council does hereby FIND, ORDER and DETERMINE that 1. The City Council did, on the 3rd day of August, 1959, adopt its Ordinance No. 439 of Intention to Vacate Rozzi Way, a public street in the City of South San Francisco, for its full length, as said street is shown on the map entitled "South San Francisco Industrial Park, Unit No. 2-C", which map was re- corded in the office of the County Recorder of the County of San Marco on February 25, 1959, in B~ok 50 of Maps, at pages 31, 32 and 33. 2. Said ordinance recited that proceedings were. being undertaken pur- suant to the Street Vacation Act of 1941, for vacating said street. 3. Said Ordinance of Intention was duly published as required by law, and notices of its passage entitled "Notice of Proposed Street Vacation - Vacation of Rozzi Way", were duly posted in the time, manner and form provided by law, all as appear from the affidavits of publication and posting on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City. 4. Tuesday, the 8th day of September, 1959, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M., at the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of South San Francisco, were fixed in said Or'dinance of Intention as the time and place when and where any and all persons interested in, or having any objections to, said proposed vmcation might appear before said Council and be heard. 5. No objections of any kind or character have been, or were made, or filed, against said proposed vacation. 6. It is to the interest and convenience of the City of South San Fran- cisco that said Rozzi Way for its full length be, and said street is, hereby vacated. 7. The City Clerk of said City shall cause a certified copy ~this resolution and order, attested under the seal of said City, to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of said County of'San Mateo. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held this 8th day of September, 1959, by the following vote: AYES, Councilmen Andrew Rocca, G. J. Rozzi, Emilio Cortesi, Leo J. Ryan and Patrick E. Ahern NOES, None ABSENT, None ATTEST: ARTHUR A. RODONDI CITY CLERK
