A RESOLUTION OF THE CIT~ COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO P~DVIDING FOR THE HOLDING OF A GENERAL M~NICIPAL
ELECTION IN SAID CITY ON THE 12TH DAY OF APRIL, 1960,
DESIGNAT~NG PRECINCTS, POLLING PLACES, AND ELECTION OFFICERS.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that for the
purpose of holding the general municipal election ia said City on the 12th day of April, 1960,
as provided by law, said City be, and the same hereby is, divided into thirty+.V-~nine (39) election
precincts, to be known as t

Voting Precinct A, Voting Precinct B, Voting Precinct C, Voting Precinct D,
Voting Precinct E, Voting Precinct F, Voting Precinct G, Voting Precinct H,
Voting Precinct I, Voting Precinct J, Voting Precinct K, Voting Precinct L,
Voting Precinct M, Voting Precinct N, Voting Precinct O, Voting Precinct P,
Voting Precinct Q, Voting Precinct R, Voting Precinct S, Voting Precinct T,
Voting Precinct U, Voting Precinct V, Voting Precinct W, Voting Precinct X,
Voting Precinct Y, Voting. Precinct Z, Vot~_~g Precinct AA, Voting PreCinct BB,
Voting Precinct CC, Voting Preoimct DD, Voting Preciuct EE, Voting Precinct FF,
Voting Precinct GG, Voting Precinct ~, Voting Precinct II, Voting Precinct JJ,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by said City Council that the aforesaid precincts and +Jae
polling places thereof shall be designated as follows:
DESI~IATION OF PRECINCTS AND POLLING PLACES
THEREOF FOR SAID GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION
Voting Precinct A shall include all the territOry described
in South San Francisco Precinct No. 12 as estabished by-that certain resolution
numbered 14,640 and entitled, ~RESOLUTION AND ORDER DIVIDING THE COUNTY OF
SAN MATEO, CALIFORNIA, INTO ELECTION PRECINCTS AND ESTABLISHING BOUNDARIES
TNEREOF#, passed and adooted by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San
Mateo, California, on the 15th day of December, 1959, and the polling place for
said Voting Precinct A shall be in Young's Garage at No. 41 Randolph Avenue in
said City of South San Francisco.
Voting Precinct B shall include all the territory described in
South San Francisco Precincts Nos. 1 and 15 as established by said resolution of
the Board of Supervisors of said County of San Marco, and the polling place for
said Voting Precinct B shall be in Copan Garage at No. 123 Claremont Avenue, in
said City.
Voting Precinct C shall include all the territory described in
South San Francisco Precincts Nos. 11 and 14, as established by said resolution
of the Board of Supervisors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place
for said Voting Precinct C shall be in Carlson's RumpUs Room at 326 Armour Avenue,
· in said City..
Voting Precinct D shall include all the territory described in
South San Francisco Precinct Nos. 27 a~d 39, as.e~tablished by said resolution of
the Board of Supervisors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for
said Voting Precinct D shall be Ruiz's Basement at No. 851 Maple Avenue, in said City.
Voting Precinct E shall include all the territory described in
South San Francisco Precincts Nos. 40 and 41, as established by said resolution of
the Board of Supervisors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for
said Voting Prec,_not E1 shall be in Bray's ~m~us ~oom at No. 1002 Hemlock Avenue,
in said City.
Voting Pree~ct F shall include all the territory described in
South San Francisco Precincts Nos. 7 amd 9, as established by said resolution of
the Board of Supervisors of said County of San Mateo, and the pOlling place for
said Voting Precinct F shall be in Mull's Basement at No. 609 Linden Avenue, in
said City.
Voting Precinct G shall include all the territory described in
South San Francisco Precinct No. 10, as established by said resolution of the Board
of Supervisors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for said Voting
Precinct G shall be in Zucco's Barber Shop at No. 218 Linden Avenue, in said City.
Voting Precinct H shall include all the tei~z-ltory described in South
San Francisco Precincts Nos. 4 and 17, as established by said resolution of the Board
of Supervisors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for said Voting
Precinct H shall be in Tognela's Garage at No. 601 Miller Avenue, in said City.
Voting Precinct I shall include all the territory described in South
San Francisco Precincts Nos. 8 and 16, as established by said resolution of the
Board 'of Supervisors of said County of San Mateo~ and the polling place for said
Voting Precinct I shall be in Spruce School~ on Spruce Avenue, in said City.
Voting Precinct J shall include all the territory described in South
San Francisco Precincts Nos. 6 and 13, as established by said resolution of the Board
of Supervisors of said County of San Mateo, and the pOlling place for said Voting
Precinct J shall be in Bernard's Garage at No. 432 Baden Avenue, in said City.
Voting Precinct K shall include all the territory described in South
San Francisco Precincts Nos. 5 and 28, as e~.~li~hed by said resolution of the Board
of Supervisors of said County of San Ma~eo,~d the polling place for said Voting
Precinct K shall be in Lazzari's. Rumpus Room at No. %29 Baden Avenue, in said City.
Voting Pr$cinct L shall include all the territory described in South
San Francisco Precincts No~. 2 and 3, as established by said resolu~i~ of the Board
of Supervisors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for said Voting
Precinct L shall be in Oliver's Garage at No. 700 Circle Court, in said City.
Voting Precinct M shall include all the teA~A~itory described in South
San Francisco Precincts Nos. 21 and 23, as established by said resolution of the Board
of Supervisors of Said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for said Voting
Precinct M shall be in Ssiandri's Rumpus Room at No. 735 Miller Avenue, in said City.
Voting Precinct N shall include all the territory described in South
San ~rancisco Precincts Nos. 29 and 52, as established by said resolution of the Board
of Supervisors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for said Voting
Precinct N shall be in Baldassini's Garage at No. 215 Chestnut Avenue, in said City.
Voting Precinct 0 shall include all the territory described in South
San ~rancisco Precincts Nos. 20 and 22, as established by said resolution of the Board
of Supervisors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for said Voting
Precinct 0 shall be in Harrington's Garage at No. !J:l Fir Avenue, in said City.
Voting Precinct P shall include all the te~:~-itory described in South
San ~rancisco Precinct No. 35, as established by said resolution of the Board of
SuPervisors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for said Voting
Precinct P shall be in Stuller's Garage, at No. 154 Francisco Drive, in said City. ·
Voting Precinct Q shall include all the territory described in South
San Francisco Precincts Nos. 18 and 51, as established by said resolution of the Board
of Supervisors of said County of San ~ateo, and the polling place for said Voting Precinct
Q shall be in Petroni's Basement at No. 407 West Orange Avenue, in said City.
Voting Precinct R shall include all the territory described in South
San Francisco Precincts Nos. 59 and 70, as established by said resolution of the Board
of SuPervisors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling-place for said Voting
Precinct R shall be in the Geske Garage at No. 1154 Crestwood Drive, in said City.
Voting Precinct S shall include all the territory described in South
San Francisco Precincts Nos. 55 and 57, as established by said resolution of the Board
of Supervisors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for said Voting Precinct
S shall be Sunshine Gardens School on Miller Avenue, in said City.
Voting Precinct T shall include all the territory described in South
San Francisco Precincts Nos. 53 and 56, as established by said resolution of the Board
of Supervisors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for said Voting
Precinct T shall be in Casey's Basement at No. 261 Westview Drive, in said City.
Voting Precinct U shall include all the territory described in South
San Francisco Precincts Nos. 54 and 58, as established by said resolution of the Board
of Supervisors of said County of San Mateo~ and the polling place for said Voting Precinct
U shall be in Meggers' Garage at No.. 1293 Baywood Avenue, in said City.
Voting Precinct V shall include all the territory described in South
San Francisco Precincts Nos. 44 and 45 and 71, as established by said resolution of the
Board of Supervisors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for said Voting
Precinct V shall be in the Boblitt Garage at No. 126 Duval Drive, in said City.
Voting Precinct W shall include all the taA:~:itory described in South
San Francisco Precincts Nos. 46 and 72, as established by said resolution of the Board
of Supervisors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for said Voting
Precinct W shall be the Heise Residence at No. 131 Buxton Avenue, in said City.
Voting Precinct X shall include all the territory described in South
San Francisco Precincts Nos. 47 and 48, as established by said resolution of the Board
of Supervisors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for said Voting
Precinct X shall be Paulsen's Garage at No. 249 Dundee Drive, in said City.
Voting Precinct Y shall include all the territory described in South
San Francisco Precinct No. 49, as established by said resolution of the Board of
Supervisors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for said Voting
Precinct Y shall be Moakler's Garage at No. 901 Gibbs Way, in said City.
Voting Precinct Z shall include all the territory described in South
San Francisco Precincts, Nos. 33 and 32, as established by said resolution of the Board
of Supervisors of said County of San Ma~teo, and the polling place for said Voting
Precinct Z shall be the Burl Buri Fire Station, in said City.
Voting Precinct AA shall include all the territory described in South
San Francisco Precincts Nos. 31 and 43, as established by said resolution of the Board
of Supervisors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for said Voting
Precinct AA~ shall be in Roy~l'e Spare Room at No. 206 Ca~aritas Avenue, in said City.
Voting Precinct BB shall include all the territory described in South
San Francisco Precincts Nos. 67 and 50, as established by said resolution of the Board
of Supervisors of said County of San Mateo, ~ad the polling place for said Voting
Precinct BB shall be the ~1 Rancho School at Del Monte and Romney Avenue, in said City.
Voting Precinct CC shall include all the te~-itory described in South
San Francisco Precincts Nos. 66 and 42, as established by said resolution of the Board
of SuPervisors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for said Voting
Precinct CC shall be the Buri Burl School on E1 Ca~po D~ve, in said City.
Voting Precinct DD shall include all the territory described in South
San Francisco Precincts Nos. 65 and 68, as established by said resolution of the Board
of Supervisors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for said Voting
Precinct ~D shall be in McCallum's Garage at No. 323 Serra Drive, in said City.
Voting Precinct ES shall include all the territory described in South
San Francisco Precinct No. 34, as established by said resolution of the Board of
Supervisors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling nlace for said Voting
Precinct EE shall be in Kernan's Garage at No. 2 Serena Court, in said City.
Voting Precinct FF shall include all the te~z~itory described in South
San Francisco Precincts Nos. 62 and 63, as established by said resolution of the
Board of Supervisors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for said
Voting Precinct FF shall be in Glyrm's Garage at No. 119 Lomitas Avenue, in said City.
Voting Precinct GG shall include all the territory described in South.
San Francisco Precincts Nos. 64 and 73, as established by said resolution of the
Board of Supervisors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for said Voting
Precinct GG shall be in Genovesi's Basement at No. 240 Cuesta Drive, in said City.
Voting Precinct HH shall include all the tez~-itory described in South
San Francisco Precincts Nos. 19 and 30, as established by said resolution of the Board
of Supervisors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for said Voting

At said general municipay election the polls in each of said voting precincts shall be
opened at 7 o'clock a.m. of the day of election and shall be kept open until 8 o~Clock p.m. of
said day, when the oolls shall be closed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said City Clerk shall, as provided for by law, cause to be
prepared and to be printed for the aforesaid precincts, for the use of the voters at said general
election, a sufficient number of ballots, said ballots to be printed upon the proper kind of paper,
to-wit: the same as is used at the general elections in the State of California. In addition,
said City Clerk shall, as required by law, procure all necessary election materials and supplies
to be used at said precincts for the conduct of said general election, including the obtaining
and erecting of necessary voting booths.
BE IT STILL FUR~ER RESOLVED THAT said City Clerk be, and he hereby is, directed to
give notice of the aforesaid designation of election officers and polling places by one publi-
cation thereof in the "SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO ENTERPRISE-JOURNAL."
