HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2972-1960RESOLUTION NO. 2972 DIRECTING MAKING OF AMENDED ASSRSS~NT INDUSTRIAL SEW'ERS AND PU~PING STATIONS RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, California, that WHEREAS, an assessment and diagram was made and filed with the City Clerk of said City all pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. 1987 adopted by the City Council of said City on March 15, 1954, and the provisions of the Municipal Improvement Act of 1913, and said assessment was confirmed by said Coumfl on May 17, 1954, and recorded in the office of the Superintendent of Streets of said City; and WHEREAS, certain lots or parcels of land upon which there are unpaid assess- ments against ~hich bonds have been issued under the Refunding Assessment Bond Act of 1935 as modified in the Municipal Improvement Act of 1913, have been divided so that they no longer conform to the original parcel boundaries as shown on said assessment; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that 1. The Superintendent of Streets shall cause to be prepared and filed with the City Clerk a report and amended assessment and.diagram of the lot and parcel so divided, said parcel being designated Assessment Number 23. 2. That the unpaid installments of said original assessment shall be segre- gated and apportioned in accordance with the benefits to the several parts.of the original lot or parcel and the total amount of the assessment of the several;portions of the orig- inal lot or parcel shall be equal to the unpaid assessments upon said original lot or parcel of land. 3. That Monday, the 4th day of April, 1960, at the hour of eight o'clock p.m. at the regular meeting place of said Council, Council Chambers, City Hall, South San Francisco, California, be and the same are hereby, fixed as the time and phce for hearing said amended assessment before said Council.. 4. That the City Clerk of said City shall advertise the time and place of such hearing before the City Council by publishing a notice of said amended assessment twice in the Enterprise-Journal, a newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated in said City, the first publication being not less than fifteen days before said hearing. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held this 7th day of ~arch, 1960, by the following vote: AYES, ' Councilmen Andrew Rocca, G.
