A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO CONSENT
TO CANCELLATION OF TAXES ACQUIRED BY THE SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the South San Francisco Unified School District, by Resolution No. 38,
passed the 13th day of October, 1959, has acquired certain parcels of real property,
more particularly described hereinafter, and pursuant to Revenue and Taxation Code 4986
has requested cancellation of all uncollected City taxes and those for all subsequent
years, together with any costs and penalties thereon, and that the City Attorney consent
thereto, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of South San Francisco desires to author-
ize the City Attorney to consent to said cancellation pursuant to the provision of 4986
of the Revenue and Taxation Code,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that all uncollected City taxes and those for all subsequent years be cancelled
together with any costs and penalties thereon, on thatparcel of property described as follows:
BEGINNING at the most Westerly corner of that parcel of land described in the
Deed to San Mateo Mounted Sheriff's Posse Club, a corporation, recorded
April 24, 1945 in Book 1170 of Official Records o~ San Mateo County at page
248; thence from said point of' beginning South 39v 25' 45" Eas~ along the
Southwesterly line of said parcel 250.00 feet; thence North 50v 00' 30" East
parallel to the Northwesterly line of said parcel 250.00 feet; thence North
39v 25' 45" West parallel to the SoUthwesterly line of said parcel 250.00
feet to the-NorthweSterly line of said parcel; thence South 50 00' 30" West
along said Northwesterly line 250.00 feet to the point of beginning.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney of the City of South San Francisco
is hereby authorized to consent to said cancellation in accordance with Section 4986 of the
Revenue and Taxation Code of the State of. California. ;
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held this 16th day of May, 1960, by the following vote:
