A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO CONSENT TO
CANCELLATION OF TAXES ACQUIRED BY THE SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
U~IFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the South San Francisco Unified School District, by. Resolution No. 28,
passed the 4th day of August, 1959, has acquired certain parcels of real property, more
particularly' described hereinafter, and pursuant to Revenue and Taxation Code 4986 has re-
quested cancellation of al. 1 uncollectedCi.ty taxes and and those for all subsequent years,
together with any costs and penalt~s thereon, and that the City Attorney consent thereto,
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the.City of South San Francisco desires to authorize
the City Attorney to consent to said cancellati~on pursuant to the provision of 4986 of the
Revenue and Taxation Code,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the'CSty.Council of'.the City of South San
Francisco that all uncollected City taxes and.those fo~all.'Subsequent years be cancelled,
together with any costs and penalties thereon, on that Parcel of property described as
follows:'
BEGINNING at an iron pipe monument in the Westerly line 'of'.Junipe~o Serra Boule-
va~d Extension in San,MateD County, State of Cal:ifornia, which peint bears South
25- 33' 30" East 26.90 feet from the most Easterly corner of Lot 26, Block 20 of
"Winston Manor No. 5" which map was fi'led for record October 1, 1953 in Book 37
of Maps at page 35; thence South 39° 29' 18" West 1036.04 feet to a point; thence
South 25° 33' 30" East 1064.05 feet to a point; thence North 39° 29' 18" East
1036.04 feet to a point on the Westerly line of Junipero Serra Boulevard Exten-
sion; thence North 25- 33t 30" West 1064.05 feet along said Westerly line of
Junipero Serra Boulevard Extension to the point of beginning. Containing 22.945
acres more or.less.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney of the City of South San Francisco
is hereby authorized to consent to said cancellation in accordance with Section 4986 of
the Revenue and Taxation Code of the State of California,
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly intro-
duced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
regular meeting held this 16th day of May, 1960, by the following vote:
