RESOLUTION NO. 3060
A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT - GRAND AVENUE
AND ORANGE AVENUE TRAFFIC SIGNAL INSTALLATION
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, that
WHEREAS, pursuant to previous order of the City Council and published
notice, bids were publicly opened, examined'and declared on the 15th day of August
1960 for the work to be done and the improvement to be made as described and speci-
fied in Resolution No. 3047 entitled, "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, AUTHORIZING THE
WORK AND CALLING FOR BIDS ON THE INSTALLATION OF TRAFFIC SIGNALS AT GRAND AVENUE
AND ORANGE AVENUE INTERSECTION".
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED as follows:
1. That said Council does hereby reject all of said proposals or bids
except that hereinafter mentioned, and hereby awards the contract for doing the
work and improvements and furnishing the materials, supplies and equipment neces-
sary therefor, to the lowest responsible bidder, to wit: ABBETT ELECTRIC CORP. at
the unit prices named in their bid.
2. That the Mayor of said City is hereby authorized to make and enter
into a written contract with said successful bidder, and to authorize, receive and
approve all bonds in connection therewith, and the City Clerk of said City is hereby
directed to attest his signature and affix thereto the corporate seal of the City.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly intro-
duced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
at a regular meeting held on the 15th day of August, 1960, by the follow-
ing vote:
